An iconic Kangol classic, with the ventilation grille around the outer edge, the 504 vent cap has remained fresh since it was introduced in the early '80s. The 504 Cap gets its name from the number attributed to the original block form. Tropic yarn is a traditional polyester blend from Kangol and is a warm weather yarn that has been in the collection since the 1970s.

Schirmmütze, die dennoch auffällt
Diese Kangol kaufen wir bereits mehrfach (andere Farben) und sind immer noch begeistert. Sie tragen sich einfach wunderbar und wegen des Strickmaterials sorgen sie für eine gute Belüftung, was im Sommer besonders angenehm ist. Bisher nie einen Sonnenbrand auf der Kopfhaut gehabt. Wenn man im Schirmteil den Schaumstoff herausnimmt, kann man die Mütze bedenkenlos bei 30° in der Waschmaschine im Feinprogramm zusammen mit ähnlichen Dingen waschen. Sie kommen so glatt heraus, wie man sie hineingetan hat. Anschließend einfach kurz aufhängen, denn die Mütze trocknet sehr schnell. Auch nach Jahren bei unserem 1. Modell kein Verschleiss feststellbar. Auch ist der Schirm sicher für die Augen und nicht so lang wie die üblichen Kappen, so dass man eine gute Sicht in die Ferne hat. Zuletzt sind wir sogar in Frankreich auf diese Mütze angesprochen worden, weil sie wohl selten zu sehen ist, und den Fragestellern so gefallen hatte (die haben sie sogar schon bemerkt, als wir 20m entfernt von ihnen waren), dass sie unbedingt wissen wollten, wie sie diese Kappe bekommen können. Selbst meine längeren Haare schlinge ich darunter und sie bleiben dort auch, was wirklich ein Komfort für mich ist. Auch eine kleinere Haarspange kann unter diese Mütze verschwinden, sofern man sie nicht zu klein gekauft hat. Aber das Material ist ja leicht elastisch, was für mich äußerst praktisch ist.

Angenehme Mütze für den Sommer
Ich habe bereits mehrere dieser Kangol Tropic-Mützen.Sehr praktisch für den Sommer.Sie sind gut durchlüftet, bieten dennoch ausreichend Sonnenschutz (der Hersteller gibt aber so weit ich weiß keinen UV-Schutz an).Als Vorteil gegenüber normalen Kappen/Baseball Kappen sehe ich, dass diese Kangols doch ziemlich haltbar sind und sich nicht einfach verformen. Das könnte den doch recht hohen Preis rechtfertigen.Wenn man die richtige Farbe wählt (z.B. dunkelgrün), sehen sie sehr lange noch super aus, auch wenn man sie viel trägt.Leider löste sich bei zwei meiner Mützen nach einiger Zeit im inneren die Schaumstoffeinlage beim Schirm und musste neu fixiert werden. Das könnte man noch besser lösen.Je nach Farbe sind die Kangol 504-Mützen in unterschiedlichen Ländern hergestellt -z.B. Grau und Army Green und Beige in China, Rot und Grau in Taiwan.GrößeDie Größen der Tropic Ventair 504 fallen nach meinem Eindruck etwas kleiner aus, als bei manchen anderen Mützen -mir passt bei ca 58/59cm Kopfumfang sehr gut Größe XL. Kleinere Größen sind aber flexibel und 1 Nummer kleiner ist nicht zu eng, 2 Nummern kleiner geht gerade noch, sitzt aber schon etwas fester.Vergleichsweise sind Modelle der Reihe Kangol Tropic 507 wohl deutlich größer geschnitten. Ein Exemplar, das ich probiert habe, war in XL deutlich zu groß und vermutlich sollte es 1-2 Nummern kleiner passen.Modell 504 oder 507?Also die Kangol Tropic-Mützen gibt es wohl in der Reihe 504 und 507, man sollte sich genau Vergeichsbilder ansehen und sie sonst gegebenenfalls probieren. Die Form ist jedenfalls ganz anders, die 504 hat einen längeren Schirm nach vorne und ist weniger nach oben gewölbt. Es gibt auch jeweils etwas unterschiedliche Designs.Beim Modell 504 sind bei manchen Farben auch die Lüftungs-Schlitze unterschiedlich geformt/angebracht.

Son varias las gorras que tengo de kangol y son las mejores que tengo. Buena calidad y buenos diseños no defraudan. Es la primera de verano que he comprado, el diseño es muy bonito y la calidad excelente. Ligera pero lo suficiente tupida como para proteger del sol. No será la última gorra de verano que compre de kangol a pesar que no son precisamente baratas, pero la calidad que ofrece merece la pena. Muy contento. Sobre el envío de amazon sin comentarios....excelente el paquete y fecha de entrega, vamos como siempre.
