    Diese Regenjacke ist nicht nur wasserdicht sondern auch super leicht und angenehm auf der Haut. Innen hat sie keinen Netzstoff sondern ein angenehmes leicht kühlendes Material. Sie passt wie beschrieben in die eigene Jackentasche, sodass man eine praktische Hülle hat, um die Jacke im Rucksack zu verstauen. Die Größe fällt normal aus. Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

    Gegen Regen funktioniert gut. Super wasserdicht. Aber ich hätte es mir gewünscht, dass es nicht so undurchlässig für den Wind wäre. Da ich es beim Sport tragen wollte, kommt eine Zeit, in der man stark schwitzt und mit der Jacke sehr heiß wird.

    Eine schöne und praktische Jacke. Regen hält sie gut ab und vermittelt eine gute Qualität. Ich nutze sie zum Joggen und bin sehr zufrieden, allerdings ist sie schon sehr körpernah geschnitten. Das sieht gut aus, macht es aber schwierig, dickere Pullover darunterzuziehen.

    Optisch gefällt mir die Jacke gut. Aufgrund der Angaben in diversen Rezensionen habe ich sie vorsorglich eine Nummer größer (M statt S) bestellt, damit auch noch ein Pullover Platz hat. Wirklich notwendig wäre das aber vermutlich nicht gewesen; ich zumindest habe nicht das Gefühl, dass die Jacke klein ausfällt. Egal, sie sitzt in M jetzt eben sehr locker, passt aber. Es haben auch mehrere Schichten darunter Platz.Einem schlimmen Regenguss musste sie bislang nicht standhalten; Wind und leichten Niesel hält sie gut ab.Was mir überhaupt nicht gefällt: Das Material ist alles andere als atmungsaktiv. Obwohl es sehr dünn ist, fängt man darunter sehr schnell zu schwitzen an. Für eine längere Wanderung oder anstrengendere Touren ist sie damit völlig ungeeignet, selbst bei kürzeren Strecken schwitze ich am Ende etwas. Was hilft eine Jacke, die zwar Wasser von außen abhält, aber dafür sorgt, dass man darunter im eigenen Schweiß badet?

    This is the third time I’ve purchased this Marmot jacket. I wear it a lot for hiking, snowshoeing, walks and football games. It’s so versatile and it’s light to pack in a backpack. With all the use the inner lining eventually breaks down losing the waterproofing. Does not stop me from loving this jacket. I’m 5’5”, 123 lbs and a medium works for me. The size allows me to layer with a fleece and/or nano puffy jacket.

    Classic pre-cip version is thin, light and packable in its own pocket. Yet it is great at keeping you dry. The hood can also fold into the collar. Note that there is a newer model called pre-cip pro which is not packable, it is ticker and the hood doesn’t fold inside the collar. I like the classic foldable version better.

    I bought this jacket along with the pants to keep dry and warm on a hiking trip to the Alaska mountains and glaciers. It is very lightweight so it was easy to add it to my backpack to carry it up the incline and back. Not only did it help with hiking, but also with trekking over a skybridge and on the many boat tours we took to the bay and ocean.

    Plus points:This jacket is totally waterproof, has a lining, you won't sweat inside it and it folds away to nothing. The hood is substantial and is wired round the edge so that it stays clear of your face. It's a quality item with adjustable cuffs and drawstrings.Minus points:A weird fit, almost as if designed for a man, with wide, roomy shoulders and narrow hips. I am a British size 8-10 on the bottom and 10 on top. I would usually get a size S in a jacket like this but because it was intended to be worn over a fleece or jumper in case of rain, I sized up to an M. I should have got an L!I can hardly get the zip done up over my hips and cannot wear more than the lightest of t shirts under it. It would be appropriate if you were wanting something to wear over athletic or gym gear. But in my opinion it is not true to size and I advise getting two sizes larger if, like me, you have any curves at all.I'm not sending it back but have passed it on to my size 6 daughter, who still thinks it's snug over the hips.
