Good quality and fit but not exactly what I need
The first thing I noticed when I got the package was it looked like someone's kid doodled on the shoebox. No big deal. The shoes were in good condition but had some white marks on the bottom, making me think that someone tried the shoes and returned them. Also no big deal. I tried the boots myself, and I feel the fit is actually good if you tie the laces correctly. I bought a half size bigger than my normal size. The shoes are light on my feet. However I tried other brands and prefer a different boot for my future trip, so will return these. Also I prefer boots not made with animal leather

These hiking boots are superb!! They fit perfectly! So well made, so comfortable!! Simply superb!! Have worn Merrell hiking boots for years, know their quality well. I purchased previous pairs of Merrells from other companies that sold Merrell products. These days those vendors aren't selling Merrells, they are selling their own brand, which can't compare to Merrell!

Amazing Boots
I read sooooo many reviews for womens hiking boots and a ton of them pointed to this boot. I did the prime try before you buy program so that I was able to order a bunch of sizes and then send back the ones that didnt fit and keep the one that fit best. I'm usually a size 5.5 in shoes and I ended up keeping the 6. They are super comfy and warm in cold weather but not too heavy or hot for warm weather. Will probably be purchasing another pair for a diff color option.
