The very first denim shorts. These denim shorts have been modelled on the 501 original jeans with our legendary vintage fit, a flattering high waistband and a longer crotch height. To this day, it has never gone out of fashion. And she never will.
Size up 1 size, if you’re curvy you will have some waist gap
I have a 26 inch waist and 40 inch hips. I usually can wear a 28 in Levi’s but went with 29. These are only slightly stretchy mostly denim. They’re nice and sturdy denim but flexible not stiff. I had about 1-2 inches of a waist gap but I almost always do with Levi’s or non curvy clothing. I absolutely love the length as I hate my cellulite on the back of my upper thighs so this conceals it. I am 5’3” for reference. It is a button up vs zipper. Holds the mom pooch in well. They do bag out a bit after wearing 5-6 hours I noticed they were more loose and baggy than when I first put them on but they stayed at that level of being bagged out for the rest of the day.

I ordered a 29. I ordered my regular size (8).I am a tall girl, and these are the perfect length! They make the booty look AMAZING TOO!However, They are on the tighter side, usually Levi’s 100% cotton does stretch out a little! still trying to decide if I am going to exchange for the next size up for a looser fit.I ordered the black, love them!and the Oxnard Choice - Medium Indigo which I received the wrong Levi shorts.I was sent some stretchy mid thighs, which are nice! But I’m a 100% cotton kinda gal.I definitely will be ordering the medium denim, again, and other colors! The quality is sooo good.They arrived super fast too.
Great shorts, but zero stretch
These are great! They are very flattering, I got my true size which is 27 for Levi's jeans and shorts, I'm 5.4 height, 130 weight.Completely agree that they have zero stretch, so if you are looking for a looser fit, definitely size up.They are very well made, fabric is pretty thick.I wish the fabric of the pockets matched the black of the shorts as the torn part reveals it a little bit but it doesn't bother me, they still look great!
Not Levi's..?
I bought these in 26 and they were a tad bit big but I could have shrunk them in the wash but decided to get a size 25 anyway. I'm a 26 normally. Well the 25s came and they did not have the back.pocket Levi tag that is the #1 authentication but it seemed to have everything else...which makes some wonder because ALL the shorts I bought had this but these... So I really didn't care asong as they fit but these actually ride into my crotch and maybe because I'm used to high waisted now that these just ran low rise but not comfortable and they just fit different than the first pair. Returning both. Bummer.
I like 'em!
I wasn't sure if I'd like these shorts or not based on the reviews...but I do! First, I'm not certain that they are really Levi's. The label is not leather and feels cheap. But I haven't purchased Levi's anything in a while so maybe this is their label now. Second, sizing. I kept reading that I should size up 1 or 2 sizes. So this is the difficult part with every body being different. I'm 5'3", 152 lbs, no waist, no hips. I can wear bottom sizes from 8-14. That's a big jump but that's my body shape. I would say my "typical" size is a 10 or 30. But I ordered these (black, distressed) in a 31 per other reviews. While it's true that there's not a huge amount of stretch to them, the 31's were quite roomy. In the waist, butt and legs. I could have ordered the 30's. So I really don't know what to recommend. I like the looseness of them, love the length. And even though I'm kind of over "distressed everything", I do like these shorts. So you might just need to order a couple of sizes to see which one works for your body shape.
