Vielseitiges Premium-Mainboard
Zunächst, was habe ich gesucht? Ein AM5-Mainboard für meinen Workstation-/Office-PC mit dem man manchmal auch ein paar ältere Games zocken kann. Fokus liegt aber auf Produktivität. Effizienz war mir da sehr wichtig, weshalb dieser auch mit einem Ryzen 7900 (65W Eco-Modus) und einer Radeon RX 6600 läuft. Anforderungen waren 1x M.2 Gen5 für die SSD mit Betriebssystem, 2x M.2 Gen4 für ein SSD-Raid und min 2x SATA für ein weiteres SSD-Raid und dann einen USB-C Anschluss mit DisplayPort, da ich manchmal einen zweiten mobilen Bildschirm anschließen will.Wie kam es zu dem Kauf? Ich hatte ein paar Boards im Visier, die meine Anforderungen erfüllten. Da tauchte dieses verlockende Angebot von Warehousedeals auf und schon war es für ~180€ gekauft. Ich war am Anfang sehr skeptisch, da ich eigentlich das MSI X670E Tomahawk wollte und ich mir nur dachte, mit dem kleinen B650 Chipsatz läuft das alles eh nicht. Außerdem gab es keine Bewertungen zu diesem Board. Doch ich wurde mehr als positiv überrascht!Was habe ich bekommen? Ein sehr schönes und hochwertiges Board. Die Optik ist schlicht und an Pro-Anwender adressiert. Das VRM ist für ein B650-Mainboard der Hammer. Ich wollte zwar nicht übertakten, aber wenn, dann hätte ich eine gute Grundlage. Was aber dadurch besser und stabiler geht ist die das CPU/RAM Tuning. Betreibe den 7900er im Eco-Mode mit dem Curve-Optimizer aus dem BIOS mit -35 auf CCX0 und -50 auf CCX1. Boostet immer noch fast ans Limit und zieht kaum Strom. EXPO-Profil hat direkt geklappt und ich habe die Timing ein wenig schärfer stellen können. Nach ein paar Klicks und Minuten war das System für meine Bedürfnisse optimiert. Mit Prime95 alles auf Stabilität getestet. So einfach hatte ich es noch bei einem Board. Die Boot-Zeit war anfangs etwas lang, aber mit "Memory Context Restore = enable" bin ich wieder bei sehr kurzen Bootzeiten. Dann der nächste Hammer: Laut Datenblatt/Hersteller: 1x M.2 Gen5 via CPU, 1x M.2 Gen4 via CPU und 1x M.2 Gen4 via Chipsatz. Ich hatte wegen der Alt-Datenübertrage alle M.2-Key mit Gen5 SSDs bestückt. Alle drei liefen als 4x PCIe 5.0. und ich konnte via CrystalDiskMark kaum Geschwindigkeitsunterschiede feststellen. Ob das an der Grafikkarte, die nur 8x PCIe-Lines benötigt, liegt oder per BIOS-Update einfach so festgelegt wurde, keine Ahnung. Ich nehme es mit einem Grinsen im Gesicht einfach so hin. Wie üblich bei Gigabyte-Boards lassen sich die Lüfter sehr genau im BIOS einstellen. Das Mainboard hat auch Steckplätze für Temperatursensoren (nicht im Lieferumfang) mit denen ich meine Lüfterkurven noch besser steuern kann. Was mich noch positiv überrascht hat ist das VisioLink-System. Da könnte man so Pen-Displays usw. anschließen. Ist also ein bidirektionaler USB-C-Anschluss mit 60W PD. Was aber für mich interessant war, das ich mit dem DisplayPort-Kabel aus dem Lieferumfang meine Grafikkarte und das Mainboard verbinden kann. So wird der USB-C-Anschluss am Board von meiner Grafikkarte gefüttert und ich kann die iGPU deaktivieren und habe noch ein paar Watt gespart. Wenn ich jetzt meinen USB-C Monitor anschließe, habe ich das Bild von der Grafikkarte, welche eine bessere Leistung hat als die iGPU. Einfach Klasse!Fazit: Das ich mal wieder eine Bewertung schreibe, ist schon ein gutes Zeichen dafür, dass das B650 Aero G mich voll überzeugt hat. Das dieses Board noch keiner bewertet hat, konnte ich nicht so stehen lassen. Es hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen!

Beautiful motherboard but no instructions!
This motherboard is truely stunning and has plenty of ports for what I need besides being a 3.0 usb short but I can buy an adapter.My main issue hence the three stars in there was NO MANUAL in the box! Nothing to say which ports were where and really struggled to find some of the ports we needed. Eventually found one online but I shouldn’t have to do that when spending so much money on a motherboard!
