    Brand: Shure

    • Legendary sound – The SM7dB delivers the familiar warm sound loved by broadcasters, singers and authors alike. Shure engineers have carefully ensured that it has the same sound signature as the original SM7B.
    • Built-in preamp - The built-in preamp preserves the frequency response of the microphone and ensures a clean sound. To operate the preamplifier, you only need an interface or a mixer with +48 V phantom power.
    • Gain level - Loud sounds like a guitar or snare drum? Use +18dB or bypass the preamp to get the original output level of the SM7B. Podcasting or vocal recordings? Choose the built-in raise of +28 dB.
    • Bypass switch – in bypass mode, you can do without the built-in preamplifier and forward the unamplified signal to your professional interface. The bypass mode switches back to the original SM7B power.
    • Wide frequency range – whether you have activated the preamp or not, you get the same great details in your recordings thanks to a proven dynamic pickup and a frequency range of 50 to 20,000 Hz.
    • CARDIOID POLAR PATTERN - Excellent reverse radiation and textbook cardioid pattern isolate your voice from all background noise, so that the SM7dB can capture a warm, clear sound in any environment.
    • Find your ideal sound – Just like the SM7B, the SM7dB with the switches on the back of the microphone offers multiple sound signatures that fit any type of voice or instrument.
    • Unweave your audio chain - The SM7dB frees you from clunky inline preamps and other accessories and ensures that you get the classic SM7 sound no matter where you are recording. One less worry when you are on the go.
    • WHAT IS IN THE BOX - SM7dB microphone, close-up wind protection, 3/8 inch thread adapter

    Besser geht's nicht!

    5/5 · Simon G

    Bestes Mikrofon ever 5*****

Der Klassiker – Qualität hat ihren Preis

    5/5 · Nathalie G.

Was soll man groß sagen?

    1/5 · Tim Jahn

Wo fängt man an. Was ist passiert? NICHTS. Wieder ein und ausgesöpselt. Wieder passiert nichts.

    Amazing mic.

Massive upgrade from hybrid USB/XLR mic - vocals transformed completely

Night and day improvement over my previous setupI upgraded to the SM7DB from a BLUE Yeti Pro, and the difference is absolutely remarkable. This isn't just a minor improvement - it's a complete transformation in vocal quality that justifies every penny of the investment.Audio Quality - Outstanding:The vocals are significantly clearer and louder with much less boost required compared to my previous USB microphone setup. The SM7DB captures voice with a richness and presence that the Yeti Pro simply couldn't match. There's a professional warmth and clarity that immediately elevates any recording.Gain Efficiency:One of the most noticeable improvements is how much less gain staging I need. With the Yeti Pro, I was constantly fighting to get adequate levels without introducing noise. The SM7DB delivers strong, clean signal that requires minimal boost, making the entire recording process smoother and more predictable.Build Quality & Design:Classic Shure construction - this microphone feels like it could survive decades of use. The weight and materials give you confidence that you're holding professional-grade equipment. The internal shock mounting effectively isolates handling noise, and the built-in pop filter works excellently.Setup Integration:Works seamlessly with my audio interface setup. The XLR connection provides the professional flexibility that USB microphones simply can't match, allowing for better signal chain control and room for future upgrades.Upgrade Perspective:Coming from a well-regarded hybrid microphone like the Yeti Pro (which offers both USB and XLR connectivity), I wasn't sure the improvement would be dramatic enough to justify the cost. I was completely wrong - the difference is immediately apparent to both the person recording and anyone listening to the output.Bottom Line:If you're considering stepping up from hybrid USB/XLR microphones to dedicated professional XLR equipment, the SM7DB delivers everything you hope for and more. The vocal clarity and reduced gain requirements alone make this a game-changing upgrade.Perfect for: Content creators, podcasters, and home studio enthusiasts ready to move from hybrid microphones to dedicated professional-grade vocal recording equipment.

    Original y funcionado

    5/5 · Jair B

The Best Dynamic Microphone—Shure Has Done It Again!

    5/5 · 10 Gauge

The Shure SM7db is hands down the best microphone I’ve ever used! As someone who has worked with numerous dynamic and condenser mics over the years, I can confidently say that Shure took an already legendary microphone (the SM7B) and made it even better with the built-in preamp—an absolute game-changer.Right out of the box, the build quality is top-tier, as expected from Shure. It has a solid, durable construction that feels premium. The integrated preamp provides a clean gain boost (up to +28dB), eliminating the need for an external signal booster like a Cloudlifter. This makes setup so much easier and allows for better control over audio levels without cranking up the gain on my interface. The Shure SM7db connects via a standard XLR connection, ensuring professional-grade audio transmission. It is not USB, so you’ll need an audio interface or mixer. However, the built-in preamp means it works beautifully even with budget interfaces, as it doesn’t require an ultra-powerful gain boost. The sound quality is incredible—rich, warm, and detailed, with excellent background noise rejection. Whether I'm recording vocals, podcasts, or voiceovers, it delivers broadcast-quality sound with zero distortion or hiss. The low-cut and presence boost switches allow me to shape the sound to fit different recording scenarios. If you’re a content creator, musician, or podcaster, the Shure SM7db is an absolute must-have. It takes everything great about the SM7B and makes it even better. Worth every penny!
