Hart got harder now. The toughest shoe for skateboarding is now tougher than ever - 3x more durable to be exact. Etnies has teamed up with the top rubber manufacturer, Michelin of the planet, to help us reinvent the Marana outsole. The upper includes a welded, injected rubber toe cap for incredible durability and hidden lace loops to protect your laces. For comfort and performance, the Marana features a padded tongue and collar with a Pro Foam 1 insole. Thanks to Michelin, this all sits on a cup sole formulated with durable Michelin rubber.

Dieser Schuh ist neben dem Globe encore 2einer der Besten Schuhe die ich nach 25 Jahren auf dem Board geskatet bin.Man kann mit diesem Schuh ein sehr gutes Boardgefühl und Kontrolle über das Board entwickeln.

Schön gepolstert
Wirklich schöne Schuhe. Anfangs noch etwas steif, sind sie inzwischen gut "eingelaufen" und passen gut für meine Schuhgröße 43. Gute Polsterung, ideal für den bevorstehenden Winter. Halten auch Wasser gut stand.

Robuster Schuh
Es ist ein optisch ansprechender Schuh.Er wird jetzt seit 4 Monaten (im Wechsel mit nur einem anderen Paar für gute Anlässe) von einem Skateboarder getragen , es wurden wöchentlich Ollis und diverse Tricks gemacht, der Schuh hält stand. Es sind kaum Abnutzungsspuren zu sehen. Leichte Abflachung hinten an der Sohle , aber das Profil ist nach wie vor gegeben. Nach dem Eintragen ist er bequem.Leider ist die Sohle ein bisschen hart, so dass es ein schlechteres Boardgefühl wie bei den Vans ist, aber nicht extrem.Am Anfang quietschte er auf mehreren Untergründen, das hat sich gegeben.Der Stern wurde abgezogen für das Schwitzen. Man schwitzt leichter als in Vans, der Schuh ist weniger atmungsaktiv.Die Größe ist nicht wie bei Vans, wenn man bei Vans 47 braucht, kann man hier getrost 48 nehmen. Ich gebe eine Kaufempfehlung für Skateboarder, die gern das ganze Jahr über fahren für etwas kühlere Tage.
