Wir haben das TOYFID Minimalist Wallet (ca. 17 €) einem intensiven Alltagstest unterzogen. Als Familie mit einem Auge für Finanzen, Technik und Praktikabilität waren wir gespannt, ob das kleine Alu-Etui hält, was es verspricht.Der erste Eindruck & TechnikDie Verarbeitung des Aluminium-Gehäuses ist tadellos und wirkt hochwertig. Der Pop-up-Mechanismus ist das Herzstück: Bei einer Bestückung mit bis zu 6 Karten fächern diese geschmeidig auf und lassen sich intuitiv entnehmen. Sobald man jedoch die versprochene 7. Karte einschiebt, wird es hakelig. Hier stößt die Mechanik an ihre Grenzen, und das Handling verliert seine Eleganz. Wer also genau 7 Karten braucht, sollte sich auf ein bisschen "Fummelarbeit" einstellen. Der RFID-Schutz gibt jedoch ein sicheres Gefühl – die Daten sind im Metallkäfig gut abgeschirmt.Preis & LanglebigkeitMit rund 17 Euro ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis auf den ersten Blick unschlagbar. Aber Vorsicht beim Stoff-Extrafach: Aktuell hält es Geldscheine und Karten noch fest am Platz, doch die Materialanmutung lässt vermuten, dass der Stoff im Langzeittest ausleiern könnte.
