3 month review - holy grail foundation
Pros: looks natural, easy application, makes your skin better, lasts all day and looks better as the day goes onDecided to switch to Korean makeup after switching to Korean skincare and seeing a big improvement in my combo, acne prone, easily pigmented skin. I’ve been wearing this daily for 3 months, and I’ve only seen improvements in my skin. I have no plans to go back to any of the other foundations that I used previously (Lancôme teint idole, L’Oréal infallible, Dior forever skin glow, Maybelline super stay skin tint, Armani luminous silk) because this seems not at all pore-clogging, more natural looking, and stays well. This is also way easier to apply and makes doing my foundation really quick.A little bit goes a long way—youtube videos explain that you need to pat the applicator back on the black plastic after picking up foundation off the cushion to take the excess off before applying. Doing this allows you to get good coverage from a thin layer without using too much. It’s buildable if you have an area that needs more coverage.I do not use primer with this—I just let my BOJ sunscreen dry down, apply the foundation in a single thin layer, add another thin layer anywhere that needs more coverage, do the rest of my makeup, set with setting spray, and it sits really well all day, even through a workout.I also find that it can be full coverage enough to conceal my under eyes with a few thin layers, but for a more glam look it works well with Tarte shape tape and Kosas concealer.The only minor con is that I feel even the neutral shades skew warm, but it is nice that they have the trial packets, mini sizes, and a vast shade range.I’ve also found that when I think I’m out of foundation, the sponge inside palette can be flipped over with tweezers and you’ll get a few more uses while you wait for your replacement to ship.YMMV but I personally won’t ever feel the need to try another foundation for as long as this is available. I also never really write positive reviews but I’m really glad I ended up trying this product.

Its a good product. Its give good coverage. One should buy a shade lighter than their original tone because it oxidises a little not more.
