Die Callaway Warbird Distance+ sind für mich echt super Golfbälle. Sie fliegen gut, fühlen sich solide an und bieten eine richtig gute Performance für den Preis. Und selbst wenn einer mal im Wasser landet, tut’s im Geldbeutel nicht so weh wie bei teureren Bällen.

Warbirds – für Flugbahnen, die Geschichten schreiben!
Ich habe die Warbird Distance+ bei meinem allerersten Turnier mit HC54 gespielt – und ich sag’s gleich: Diese Bälle haben Power. Beim ersten Abschlag dachte ich kurz, ich hätte versehentlich einen Satelliten gestartet. Der Ball flog so weit, dass ich kurz überlegt hab, ob ich ein Fernglas brauche.Highlight des Tages:Loch 3, Par 4, leichter Dogleg links. Ich zieh den Driver durch – BOOM! – perfekter Kontakt, butterweich. Der Ball fliegt… und fliegt… und landet zielsicher auf dem Grün!Nur leider nicht auf meinem – sondern auf dem der Nebenbahn rechts.Die Flightgruppe dort hat applaudiert. Ich hab mich verbeugt. War ja immerhin ein Grün in Regulation – irgendwo.Loch 5:Ein leichter Slice, der Ball verschwindet im Wald. Ich geh suchen – finde stattdessen drei andere Bälle, ein Eichhörnchen und kurz meine Motivation.Der Warbird? Lag perfekt zwischen zwei Wurzeln, als hätte er sich dort zum Ausruhen hingelegt.Loch 7:Wasserhindernis. Ich denk mir: „Jetzt bloß nicht ins Wasser.“Der Ball denkt sich: „Challenge accepted.“Direkt in die Mitte des Teichs – mit einem so eleganten Platscher, dass selbst die Enten applaudiert haben.Aber ehrlich:Die Bälle fühlen sich super an, haben ordentlich Länge, ein knackiges Feedback beim Schlag und verzeihen auch mal einen nicht ganz perfekten Schwung. Für Einsteiger mit Ambitionen absolut empfehlenswert.Fazit:Die Warbirds fliegen weit, fühlen sich gut an und machen jedes Spiel zu einem kleinen Abenteuer.Ich hab zwar nicht gewonnen – aber dafür 18 Geschichten fürs Clubhaus gesammelt. Und drei neue Freunde auf der Nebenbahn.

Balles distances mais qui laisse aussi du toucher lors de la frappe. On ressent bien si le contact est bon et on peut apprécier une trajectoire haute et qui ne prend pas trop les effets parasites en vol. Sur les approches c’est un peu plus délicat mais le toucher est meilleur que sur d’autres type de balles dites « distance ». Pour le put ça répond bien et peu de perturbation sur la trajectoire. Pour le prix une très très bonne balle pour qui recherche de la distance et à atténuer les coups parasites donnat du slice et des hoock
