      Very good espresso machine

      am absolutely thrilled with this Krups Virtuoso machine. It has a super compact design that doesn't crowd my kitchen counter. It heats up incredibly fast and pulls a rich espresso with a beautiful, thick crema every single time. The milk steam wand works perfectly for my morning lattes. Highly recommended!

      Update - the porta filter has gone black and tarnished meaning low grade non food safe steel. Not impressed.First - please Amazon - you have to stop combining reviews. Most of the ratings are for the grinder - not the expresso machine. Whats the point of this - it makes no sense!!!!Anyway - this a review for the expresso machine - it's a nice little machine. Makes a fantastic expresso and it's quite compact. I'm so glad I've moved away from Nespresso - this is a great machine to help you do that if that's a consideration. My only gripe is that it sits low to the counter top - so - if you want to us ethe milk frother, you'll need to buy a small metal jug. For one or two people - I can't fault this machine really.

      Why did you choose this product over others?:I bought the Krups machine because they are a reputable brand (or so I thought) offering a 15 bar pressure, manual coffee machine at a reasonable price that would be delivered quickly.  When it arrived however the box had clearly been previously opened and the machine used before (red plug of water tank had been removed, splash marks and minor stains on the machine).  Moreover the spoon-tamper was missing.  I contacted Krups to obtain a replacement spoon-tamper which they ordered (without apology).  I checked the order tracker earlier today and the part has still not been ordered by Krups and am told will add an extra 5 days for delivery.  I decided to return the machine and order another (not Krups) coffee machine that would arrive before the Krups part.  Overall, not impressed with Krups.
