    Wirklich schöne, qualitative Teller

    5/5 · Aylin Quade

Beautiful Color & Shape, Great Quality - Wish There Were More Small Plates

    4/5 · Maximilian Förster

We really love the color and shape of this set. The pieces aren’t perfectly circular, which is actually what drew us to them, they feel a bit more organic and handmade rather than overly uniform. The color in person matches the product photos perfectly, and it fits the exact vibe we were going for in our space. The quality feels solid and well-made. They have a nice weight to them and feel durable enough for everyday use while still looking elevated. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is the item mix. I really wish the set included more small plates instead of so many bowls, or at least offered the option to purchase the plates separately. The bowls are nice, but we would personally get more use out of additional plates.Overall, it’s a very solid product with great design and quality, just wish there were more flexibility with the piece selection.

    Als Alltagsgeschirr perfekt 👌

Wir haben ein bestehendes Geschirr ergänzt, weil es uns gefällt. Ab und zu geht halt mal ein Teller zu Bruch oder hat irgendwann ne Macke…

    Great crockery set.

    5/5 · Sheila Appleton

A lovely set of reasonably priced crockery. Individually glazed so slight variation of colours.

    Poor finish

Extremely disappointing finish. We opened just two items, both had numerous imperfections. Returned. Avoid and find alternatives.

    A really unusual set

    4/5 · Customer Review

Firstly I have to say that this set arrived really very well packaged. Everything was individually padded and then packed in card-wrapped sets with spacers between, so that noting could move in transit. It arrived in a slightly battered box, but not a single chip or mark, inside. So well done to GBhome! I ordered the beige set, and it’s a nice very soft pale beige of the reactive glaze against a casual off-white base. The colours, the irregular reactive glaze, and the asymmetrical shape sit very well, in harmony with each other. These aren’t very delicate pieces however; this is stoneware, so it’s very tough and actually very heavy. It will happily withstand daily use without problems, and is microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe. It is worth mentioning that I found several pinholes (not pitting or blistering) in the final glaze, on several separate items in the set. There can be a dozen reasons for these, particularly in industrial fast-fired glazes and reactive glazes, but by their nature pinholes often travel down into the body of the clay, and so can cause problems long-term, including staining from food items placed on the plate. If this is a feature of the glaze, and not a flaw (ie the pinhole is there, but the glaze itself is sealed), I’d really like to see a reassurance in the small card that the manufacturer includes with this service. Pinholes aside, the shape of the pieces is very pleasing, though for some reason the pasta bowls don’t seem to follow the same irregularly-shaped edges as the rest of the set. The still fit in, by virtue of being fired with the same glaze, but it was a little puzzling. The general bowls are also really very big at around 19cm diameter—practically as big as the pasta bowls. I’d love to see them replaced by a smaller bowl around the 14cm to 18cm diameter size, which would make them a lot more versatile. As a set however, this does have great appeal, and feels very rustic, suited to both casual dining and to very high-end artistic presentation. It would be equally at home serving a Summer salad in the garden or as a statement set serving carefully arranged formal dinner for friends. As a whole I’m very happy with this set. It’s heavy enough that I wouldn’t risk storing it in a wall cupboard, but it has a sturdy durability and a charm that’s really appealing.
