Comfortable, lightweight and good quality
I am, as are most people that are into fitness or sports activities, familiar with the Adidas brand and for me, consider it a brand that provides good quality clothing/footwear.I purchased this track top to add to my collection of gym/running attire, as I like to try different styles of clothing and I also like to mix different formats to use depending on what activity I am doing. For example, this track top is good for warming up or running outdoors on a cold day, as for the most part it is lightweight, but adds a nice additional layer to keep you warm without being stifling.The top is made from a lightweight polyester material and is very comfortable to wear and feels soft against the skin. In addition, the top is made from 100% recycled material, which is great at reducing the impact on the environment and is kudos to the company’s green credentials.In terms of format, the top is cut to a slim fit design, which is close fitting but not restrictive, which is great, as you ideally want to be able to maintain a full range of motion when performing your sport activities. I have found that the fit is true to size, as I ordered a size XS and it fits as I had hoped, so I would say that you would not be required to go up or down a size. That said, being a slim fit design, there isn’t a lot of room/space inside and I would say that you can only pair the top with a thin training top or t-shirt.On the front of the top there is the familiar Adidas brand logo that sits on the top right breast area. The logo is large enough to be a nice design feature, without it being too overbearing or detracting any of the styling away. The reverse of the top is plain, so overall, the top is quite subtle in terms of graphics or wording.There are two good sized side pockets that are located at the front of the top, which is great for keeping your hands warm or items inside. However, I do feel that there has been an opportunity missed here, as the pockets do not come with a zip, so if you are doing anything related to running or cycling for example, there is a chance that items placed in the pockets could fall out and become lost.I think that the top is Ideal for anyone that is athletic or generally into fitness and looking for a lightweight and comfortable garment. Equally, it is also great to be used as a base layer for hiking and even just for loungewear.The top comes equipped with the familiar Climacool technology, which wicks away any sweat or moisture. This is a real bonus, as it means that the top whilst is breathable, it still is able to retain a good degree of warmth, so it is quite versatile in how it can be used for all different situations and weather conditions.The top has what I consider to be a good overall length, as it sits just past my waistline and I am 5 feet 8 inches tall.Using the top is very straightforward, as it features a full zip design, which means you can wear it to your preference and to suit the weather conditions. It is also easy to put on and off.Overall, I am very happy with this top, it is made by a brand that is both familiar and one that I can trust to provide comfort and functionality. I also think that the purchase price (£35.00 at the time of review) is fairly typical and fair for the product type and arguably pitched correctly given the quality that is on offer with this garment.A really nice product and one that I would recommend to others.
Good quality, comfortable to wear, and sizing is bang on!
This is the perfect lightweight jacket for me, ideal for when I go running in the morning when it’s a bit too cold for just a t-shirt. Its nicely made, comfortable to wear and it fits me perfectly.I’m quite tall and slim and my usual size is a large and I’m pleased to say not only does the jacket fit me nicely, but it’s not baggy either which is ideal for my build. The material is thin, but the jacket is good quality, and the zip works well too.The Climacool material does a great job of keeping me cool and dry, I would usually get too hot wearing a jacket, but this one definitely helps to regulate my temperature and it’s very comfortable to run in.Overall, I’m really pleased with this jacket and at around £30 I feel it represents fairly decent value for money too. It’s a product I’m happy to recommend and I feel its worth the full five stars!
