      Straightforward assembly and a good-looking piece of furniture

      This is a nice, heavy, solid wooden side table.Assembly was straightforward, with only one hiccup. First, the instructions say to use power tools with caution when assembling wood furniture, which I think is good advice. I just wanted to mention that I was able to successfully complete this using a cordless drill - I just set the torque setting to 2 out of 10, and paid close attention to when the screws were fully inserted, taking caution not to overdrive them. I started with a screwdriver, but found it a bit cumbersome, since the screw holes aren't pre-drilled or anything, and I'm glad I switched to using a drill.The one minor hiccup with assembly has already been mentioned by other reviews, but just in case: In Step 2. it says to use "Screw (B)" in the written portion, and in the diagram, it shows using "F" screws - the proper screws to use here are the "F" ones, as these are the only place in the instructions they're mentioned anyways.Now that it's complete, it looks good, seems very durable, it has a good weight to it, and I'd definitely recommend it to others. It feels like it is built to last.

      The table is sturdy enough but it came damaged on the top. We didn’t even know until we built and secured it to the floor.

      Nice Style, but the Tabletop Is a Bit Rough

      This table has a really nice modern farmhouse look and the size is perfect for a small living room, bedroom, or reading nook. The solid wood construction feels sturdy, and assembly was quick and straightforward. It looks great next to a sofa or chair and fits well with neutral or rustic decor.That said, I was a little disappointed with the texture of the tabletop. It is rougher than I expected and not as smooth as it appears in the photos. The finish definitely leans more rustic than refined, so if you prefer a very smooth or polished surface, this may not be the best choice. I find myself being careful when placing items like glasses or decorative pieces on top.Overall, it is a good-looking and well-built table, but the surface texture is something buyers should be aware of before purchasing. If you like a more natural, unfinished feel, you may enjoy it more than I did.

      Beautiful heavy side table

      This is a very well made and substantial piece of furniture despite it's compact size. The wood is dense and heavy, surprisingly so for pine per the material description. It is well lacquered and dark walnut in appearance with nice wood grain visible throughout. The assembly was very straightforward and easy, although they included a screw/bolt pack that I suspect was for the larger entryway version, so instead of all bolts and small screws, it had 4 medium/longish screws that were too long to attach where they were intended. It doesn't matter, there were enough other screws to securely fasten all the connecting parts securely.As you can see I'm using this in our theatre room to hold some of my guitar pedals/mini amps. It has plenty of room to do that and hold a couple beverages/food as well. It would be great next to a sofa or even bed though it doesn't have a lower shelf. In summary this is well made, sturdy, and will last for years. It takes 20 minutes max to assemble with zero issues.

      A Solid, Quality Side Table.

      This is a great side table. It has the look in the field of a “mission-style” table. It came very well packaged and was easy to put together. I used manual tools and had it put together at about 25 minutes. The screws in the joints made it easy to put together. I thought the directions were very good.The quality of the wood is better than what I had expected. The table is solid. It is so much better than those particleboard tables that are so easy to chip. The table will easily hold 35-40 lbs, although with a lamp and a few books, I probably won’t have more than 5-10 lbs on it at any time.The table does not wobble at all, which was another nice surprise. I really like the look of the legs and the supports. I am going to be using this in my office next to my reading chair. It’s a real classy look. This is the first item I have ever ordered from Walker Edison. Very impressed.
