    ★★★★★ — The PSU that keeps an RTX 5090 build honestChoosing a PSU for a high-end build centered on an RTX 5090 is not a decision to cut corners on. After some research I landed on the Toughpower GT 1200W, and several months in I have no regrets.**Why 1200W:**An RTX 5090 under full AI inference or gaming load is not shy about power draw. Pair that with a modern CPU and you need headroom — not just rated wattage but clean, stable headroom. The ATX 3.1 spec and native PCIe 5.1 12V-2x6 connector matter here: no adapters, no voltage sag, no transient spikes causing instability. The connector seats firmly and I've had zero issues under sustained heavy load.**Noise:**The Smart Zero fan mode is genuine. Under light-to-moderate load the PSU is completely silent. Under full system load the fan does spin up, but remains unobtrusive — far quieter than the GPU fans it's powering.**Build quality:**Fully modular means a clean build is achievable without heroic cable management effort. The cables are sleeved, reasonably flexible, and the included set covers any realistic configuration. 80 Plus Gold efficiency is where you'd expect it to be at this price point — not Platinum, but perfectly respectable.**Stability:**No crashes, no coil whine, no drama across a mix of workloads ranging from AI model inference to extended gaming sessions.     Gutes, stabiles und vor allem Premium Gefühl zum Netzteil. Der modulare Aufbau ist logisch und nachvollziehbar, allerdings muss man aufpassen, dass bei einer der 3xPCIe Power (klassischer Stromanschluss für Grafikkarten) ein 12VHPWR Modularer Anschluss genutzt werden muss, da ("nur") 2x PSU zu PCIe Kabel beiliegen.Kurz gesagt hat man2x PSU zu CPU-Power2x PSU zu PCIe-Power1x 12VHPWR zu 2xPCIe-Power2x 12VHPWR zu 12VHPWR-PowerNormalerweise ist das kein Problem, wenn man jedoch ein natives 3x PSU zu PCIe Netzteil sucht, ist das hier nicht geeignet.Für mich ist es jedoch sehr gut aufgrund der Zukunftsfähigkeit (falls ich mir doch mal eine Nvidia RTX kaufen sollte), der Verarbeitungsqualität und kann mir meinen KomponentenThreadripper 3970X5-7 Festplatten (SATA)AMD RX 7900 XTX (OC)Optimal versorgen.Rundum zufrieden für den Preis und die Leistung die es gibt.

    Das Produkt kam wie beschrieben an, die KaIch habe mir das Thermaltake Toughpower GT 1200W zugelegt und bin absolut begeistert. Die 1200W Leistung bieten mehr als genug Reserven für mein High-End-Systembel.Die Installation war problemlos, alle Kabel sind gut beschriftet und von guter Qualität. Das Netzteil läuft absolut stabil und die Spannungen sind sehr konstant. Auch die Temperaturen bleiben niedrig.Für den Preis bekommt man hier ein ausgezeichnetes Netzteil mit modernster TechnikKlare Kaufempfehlung :D
