    A pea size that removes everything

    ✅ This cleansing balm uses lightweight emollient oils (ethylhexyl palmitate and cetyl ethylhexanoate) that are brilliant at dissolving stubborn makeup, paired with gentle cleansing agents (PEG-20 glyceryl triisostearate) that allow the oil to mix with water. This means when you add water, it instantly turns milky and rinses away completely. For me, this meant a quick, satisfying break up of my long wear waterproof makeup and SPF. After rinsing, my skin felt clean without feeling stripped.✅ My skin did not feel tight after cleansing. The formula includes some lovely skin friendly extras, like antioxidant rich acerola fruit extract (a source of vit C), vit E, and the brand's "Onsen-Sui/Spa-Biome" which is based on fermented thermal water. While these ingredients won't perform miracles in a product that's not on your face that long and washed off, they likely contribute to the overall soothing and comfortable feeling my skin is left with after cleansing.✅ A small amount goes a long way. It comes with a spatula too which keeps the tub sanitary and helps avoid over scooping. This is also another plus as I find this format less messy than liquid oils.✅ The adorable Powerpuff Girls packaging was what finally convinced me to try this cult favourite product, and I'm glad it did. It proved that the product’s popularity isn’t just hype. The balm is a very effective cleanser that lives up to its reputation. It's also cute!✅ Like most oil based balms, you may experience some temporary cloudy or blurry vision if the product gets directly into your eyes. For me, the good news is that it didn't sting at all. I find it's easily avoided by being a little careful around the lash line and making sure that I either rinse my eyes thoroughly with water or use a soft, damp cloth to wipe everything away cleanly before finishing up.However,⛔ The balm has a cherry/fruity fragrance. Something to be aware of if you have very reactive skin or prefer to avoid scented products altogether. Although this version is listed as vegan and hypoallergenic, BANILA CO does offer a completely fragrance free 'calming' version which might be a safer bet for highly sensitive skin.

    Gentle and moisturising

    I like the smell of this Banila Co Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm, I’m not sure it smells like cherries as it is supposed to but it certainly is fruity. You get 100ml in the pot and you do not need very much per wash. I like to use the scoop to remove a pea sized amount which I gently rub over my face. I then add water to emulsify the oil as per the instructions. Once this is all smoothed in, I use a damp cotton facecloth to rinse it off. I have found this balm does not sting nor leave me with any redness or any other negative effects. Although it is from the Powerpuff limited edition range it seems to suit a variety of skin and ages although aimed at a younger audience I would think. I find it is gentle and it suits my sometimes sensitive and dry skin well. It is an unusual texture to start with but it soon breaks down into a good cleansing oil. It rinses off well leaving me with soft cleansed skin.

    As an avid cleansing balm user I wasn’t sure what to expect with this but it’s absolutely lovely.Gentle on skin with a very light subtle scent. Very fresh smelling, slightly fruity and powdery.You get a good amount for the price and it’s lovely quality. Great for removing makeup or a double cleanse.Great for sensitive skin I would say.Generous sized pot and on the plus side the nostalgic design and light pink pot is so so pretty.The pot is quality too, not flimsy or annoying to get the lid on and off.Highly recommend 🫶

    This special edition of BANILA CO’s Clean It Zero cleansing balm caught my eye thanks to its adorable Powerpuff Girls packaging and yes, it’s just as cute in person. Inside the tub, you’ll find a handy little spatula to scoop out the balm, which you apply to dry skin and gently massage in to melt away makeup and the day’s grime. Add a splash of water, massage again, and rinse with lukewarm water for a fresh, clean finish. My skin felt lovely and clean after using this - no greasy residue, no tightness, just a soft, refreshed feeling. Extra points from me: this balm is marked vegan-friendly, which is something I always look for. The formula includes antioxidant-rich ingredients like acerola berry and vitamin C, adding a brightening boost to your cleanse. At £17.99, it’s a little more than I’d usually spend on a cleansing balm, but the quality is noticeable and the packaging adds a fun, nostalgic twist. If you’re a fan of K-beauty or just want something that makes your skincare shelf smile, it’s worth considering.

    Effortlessly reoves all makeup, love it!

    I've tried a few cleansing balms and this one is probably in my top two.It comes in really fun packaging with the Powerpuff girls picture on it. Probably more aimed at teens but I'm okay with it.It's very simple to use and so effective! You just scoop out a small amount with the little spoon that's included. Smooth it over your dry skin and then use a small amount of water to emulsify it which turns it from an oil to a white milky cleanser.I've been using a cloth to remove it but you can just rinse it off my splashing your face. It leaves my skin feeling soft and clean and it removes every trace of makeup.I have combination skin with an oily tea zone and it's been absolutely fine. I can't smell any particular smell when using it. It's a really lovely, good quality balm that I'm more than happy to recommend. The only slight niggle is I think the tiny spoon may soon be lost but I'll try not to 🤣
