Lakai Footwear Limited is an American footwear company based in Torrance, California that creates shoes for skateboarding. Lakai was founded in 1999 by professional skateboarders and Girl Skateboards co-founders Mike Carroll and Rick Howard. Both Carroll and Howard decided they wanted to contribute to the skate shoe industry by starting their own business instead of being sponsored. By the time the Lakai idea was developed, both riders had left their positions on the DC Shoes Team Easter.

Great shoes, they’re not narrow but the toecap is low; so keep that in mind if you have fat toes and order half a size up

Great quality!
Bought these to replace another name brand skate shoe, and I don't think I'll go back.Absolutely love the build quality and overall design of these shoes.They fit true to size, they are a little stiff out of the box and definitely take some time to break in but overall they're really comfortable.
