    This maroon lip stain has a ball tip for smoother application & lasts longer than your lipstick will

    This GRETY lip liner stain says that it's long-lasting, and it is. This is Color #10, which is great for me. It's a deep maroon and matches well with my standard daytime color, Whirl, by MAC Cosmetics, which is a slightly browner maroon. I did try this against some of my pinker lipsticks, but the maroon liner was too dark for them.The ball point is new for me. This style of point is specifically to help you define your lip in a more careful and precise way, which can be trickier with a sharp-tipped or dull pencil for those not used to using a liner. The length beneath the ball tip can be used to color in the rest of your lip.A stain does sit differently on the lip than a pencil, so if you've never used one, watch a few tutorials online and see what lipsticks, pencils, and glosses pair well with them.Overall, I love this lip stain. It's a deep color that looks good during the day at work or on a night out, and lasts for hours longer than your lipstick.

    Nice colour, but too dry to use properly

    TL;DR: The colour looked nice, but the lip liner itself was far too dry and difficult to use.I bought this lip liner because I really liked the colour, but unfortunately it was very disappointing in use. It feels almost like a dried-out marker. I had to press quite hard just to get a little bit of colour, which is not comfortable at all for the lips.Even when it does give some colour, the result is very pale and not smooth. It also makes the lips feel dry, so it is not something I would want to use regularly. A lip liner should apply easily and give a clear line, but this one made the process frustrating.Overall, I was really disappointed. The colour may look nice in theory, but the product itself is too dry and difficult to use properly.
