My new everyday coffee Mugs
These ceramic coffee mugs are a beautiful addition to any kitchen or coffee bar. I have to confess up-front that we have a lot of vancasso ceramic dinnerware in our house and really love their attention to design for excellence, manufacturing for longevity & resilience and unique artistic finish. No matter if a plain color, a reactive glaze finish or a Boho style with brilliant and intricate coloration, their products are always strikingly beautiful and elegant.These 16 oz coffee mugs are finished in a STARRY theme via a reactive glaze finish. From the vancasso site I learned that "A reactive glaze ceramic finish is a multi-step glazing technique where minerals and metallic oxides intentionally react and shift during high-temperature firing in a kiln. This unpredictable chemical reaction creates stunning, one-of-a-kind color gradients, speckles, and mottled textures, meaning no two pieces are ever exactly alike."As I said above, these are definitely in the strikingly beautiful & elegant category. In addition to their sheer beauty, they are both microwave and dishwasher safe. You can tell just by picking them up that they are of superior quality and density, and one look confirms the outstanding finish.None of the vancasso products is "cheap", meaning inexpensive, not meaning "junk", but when you hold them or use them at your table you can immediately appreciate their resilience and beauty. Lifting this mug to your lips is a special occasion -- even if only enjoying your morning coffee.At $50 for the six mugs, they are $8.33 each, which is a very reasonable price for mugs of such high quality, resilience and sheer beauty.

Mugging it Up
Pleasantly surprised with the quality of these mugs. The glazing is perfect as well as the color. I selected the blue color and do enjoy the visual effect. The handles are roomy and fit well in the hand. Hot beverages stay warm for a good length of time. Nicely weighted and that should add to the sturdiness. Easy to clean either by hand or in a dishwasher.
