Er schreibt aus der Praxis für die Praxis. Stellt Prodkukte vor, die zusammen mit dem iPad einen Einstieg in eine Welt der Töne bietet.Glauben Sie mir, es ist unglaublich, was man mit diesem Wissen aus dem iPad herausholen kann. Mich hat dieses Buch angeregt das eine oder andere Spielzeug zu kaufen. Aber, wenn er sagt, dieses günstige Teil ist gut, dann können Sie es dem Autor getrost auch glauben. iRig und das Aufsteckmikrofon für das iPhone hab ich ausprobiert. Zusammen mit den richtigen Apps wird auch das iPhone (der iPad insbesondere) zu einem handlichen Musikstudio und liefert eine erstaunlicher Qualität.Wenn Sie gerne Töne aufnehmen, überall Musik machen wollen mit ihrer Klampfe, dann können sie mit einem einfachen Klemm-Pickup unter 10 € und dem iRig wirklich erstaunlichen Amps einschalten und Ihre verstaubte Klapfe klingt plötzlich wie von einer total abgefahrenen Bühne aus den Siebzigern.

das ganze buch ist nur in englisch geschriben und für mich nicht zu gebrauchen.man sollte sich am käufer orientieren,denn wir sind hier in deutschland.

A little book full of advices

I recommend this book for all who wants to make music on the iPad (there is also a section about Android).Easy to understand for beginners too.Mark Jenkins talks about every aspects we need to know...Audio and MIDI interfaces...Keyboards,DJ Decks and Controllers...A chapter for guitarists...All kinds of accessories for the iPad...The best apps to own...Technical specs,studio and stage setup...A list of ios-compatible MIDI devices and others who do not work...I think this book is very usefull for music and iPad lovers.

Mark Jenkins Hits the Mark

Mark Jenkins has written a book that is as thorough as a book about a technology can be. Sure, the world of music tech marches on after a book goes to press. But the book is clearly written and gives the reader more than mere information. One can see their own progress through the world of making music as Mark ties that march of technology to his own musical journey and insights. The concepts covered can be carried forward years after the products have been updated or discontinued. That's what makes this book so truly valuable.
