    Das Klebepad haftet seit 12 Jahren bombenfest auf dem Armaturenbrett unseres Autos. Es hält das Navi sicher und fet in Position. Die Rezensionen, die beschreiben, dass das Klebepad nicht halten würde kann ich in keinster Weise nachvollziehen. Es hält einwandfrei seit Jahren.

    Platte lässt sich gut anbringen, auch das Gerät. Das Gerät lässt sich auch gut wieder lösen. Es wäre jetzt noch abzuwarten, wie sich die Befestigung bei Temperaaturen unter 0 und iim Sommer bei großer Hitze verhält.

    Grundsätzlich ist die Idee ok und das Design ist angenehm unauffällig. Allerdings stellten sich beim Auspacken erste Zweifel ein, wie langzeitstabil die Verklebung sein kann. Egal, die erste Platte wurde auf die Mittelkonsole "geklebt". Die ersten Wochen lief alles gut, das Navi hielt. Dann gab es in den letzten Wochen einige sehr heiße Tage und die Sonne stand häufig auf dem Teil drauf - mit und ohne Navifuß als Sonnenschutz. Bei unserer letzten längeren Fahrt ist es dann passiert - während der Fahrt gab es einen Knall vom runtergefallenen Navi. Zum Glück ist außer einem Schreck mitten in der Fahrt auf der Autobahn nichts weiter passiert, das Navi ist noch ok. Jetzt wird nochmal versuchsweise die zweite Platte verwendet. Mal sehen ob es da besser läuft. Ich werde berichten.

    Mijn dashboard heeft niet echt een vlak oppervlak. Met deze montage oplossing probleem opgelost. Tomtom staat als een huis. Wel van te voren je Dashboard ontvetten met wasbenzine.... gegarandeerd dat hij blijft plakken.

    I've purchased this twice. I find them great. They work much better than mounting a suction cup to your windshield (which never works due to weather changes, moisture, and the curved windshield glass). I've even used the mounting disk in the summer, and the adhesive did not come off or melt in the heat (at least for me, they stayed in place). I've been using them for about 2 years now. However, follow the instructions during installation; in other words, (1) make sure to clean the area with rubbing alcohol before you put down the disc (both times I ordered this, for me at least, it came included with a pre-moistened, sealed, rubbing alcohol wipe - I didn't have to buy anything extra), and then (2) wait 24 hours after placing the disk before you actually use it to mount a device. Yes, I really did wait a full day to let the adhesive set properly on to the dashboard. Therefore, no, you can't put it down and start using it immediately that same day, if you actually want it to stay attached to your dashboard.
