I wouldn't buy anything else
I'm tall, my thighs are pretty chunky and I find many jeans impossible to pull much past my knees. These fit so, when they wear out, I buy another pair.

“Iconic Black” are the right kind for cuffing!
I like the look of these with when cuffed. The cuff color is contrasted with the black denim just like with blue 501s and as seen in the photo. I first made the mistake of ordering “Black” 501s and the inside of the pants were exactly the same color as the outside so the cuff so the cuffs are not noticeable on those. This is why these “iconic black” 501s are preferable to the “black” 501s to me. Also, the texture of the “Iconic Black”denim is equivalent to blue 501s. The “Black” 501s that I returned we’re more like a dress pant type of denim.
