Das Beste für Kater und Katze...
...wenn sie an Harnsteinen oder Herzinsuffizienz leiden.Und Kater Micky (der lange Zeit im Tierheim verbringen musste, ehe er wieder ein Zuhause fand), hat leider, mit seinen neun Katzenjahren, gleich beide Erkrankungen. Das Spezialfutter "Urinary S/O" von Royal Canin, wird in diesem Fall von Tierärzten empfohlen, die es auch verkaufen. Ich habe es bei Amazon bestellt, weil die Lieferung direkt ins Haus erfolgt.Wenn die Katze oder - meistens - der Kater, bisher noch nicht auf dieses Diätfutter eingestellt wurde, sollte man aber besser vorher einen Tierarzt konsultieren, damit man die Tages-Futter-Ration, die sich nach Gewicht und Zustand des Tieres richtet, in Erfahrung bringt und, ob alleine diese Fütterung bei einem erkrankten Tier ausreicht; so muss Kater Micky z.B. noch eine zusätzliche Herztablette schlucken.Ich habe früher meinem Kater, der schon ganz jung zu Harnsteinen neigte, was übrigens bei vielen kastrierten Katern der Fall ist, vorsorglich einmal am Tag "Urinary" (auf den Rat des Tierarztes hin) gefüttert, und das hat sich sehr gut bewährt.Manche Katzen sind richtige "Trockenfutter-Fans" , aber wenn ein Tier Nassfutter bevorzugt, so gibt es von Royal Canin auch da das entsprechende Produkt.

Voll und ganz zufrieden im Namen der Katze :D
Wir kauften dieses Futter auf Rat unseres Tierarztes nachdem einer unserer Kater eine Blasenentzündung hatte.Bei der Untersuchung wurden Struvitsteine festgestellt,die die Blase angegriffen haben. Nun sollten wir nach Antibiotika etc verhindern dass sich weitere Steine bilden bzw. diese abgebaut werden, und was soll man sagen... Es hilft :D Wir füttern das Futter beiden Katern (sie sind Geschwister,der Arzt riet dazu es beiden zu geben weil der zweite Kater auch eine höhere "Gefährdung" für Struvitsteine hat) und es hat ihnen von Anfang an geschmeckt! Das aller Beste am Futter ist meiner Meinung nach aber dass der Kot unserer beiden Wohnungstiger nicht mehr stinkt! Wohnungskatzen-Halter werden wissen wovon ich rede! Seit drei Monaten riecht unsere Wohnung so,als hätten wir überhaupt keine Katzen,sogar wenn sie eben zum großen Geschäft waren! Zudem halten wir uns an die Fütterungsempfehlung und siehe da,die beiden haben den überflüssigen Bauchspeck verloren und sind so agil und verspielt wie schon lange nicht mehr! Auch hält es sie länger satt,sie rennen nicht mehr alle 2 Stunden zum Napf. Ein großes Lob auch an den Händler,unsere Bestellung wurde innerhalb von wenigen Stunden verschickt und wir wurden durch Emails auf dem Laufenden gehalten wo das Futter sich befindet :) Das kaufen wir gerne weiter! Auch bei dem hohen Preis...

Angenehmer Geruch und super klumpig
6kg Royal Canin Urinary S/O Katze Trockenfutter - Diätfutter: Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!
Dieses Produkt ist sehr zu empfehlen für Katzen, die zu Struviten, Blasen- und Nierenkrankheiten neigen wie meine Turkish-Van-Mixes. Unter Anwendung dieses Produktes sind vierteljährliche Tierarztbesuche für Genesung, Medikamente und Bioresonanztherapie nicht mehr nötig. Die Katzen trinken weit mehr, was zur Ausspülung der Steine und Bakterien führt. Das Uriniersystem wird angeregt und bleibt aktiv. Außerdem ist das 6-kg-Paket sehr ergiebig und reicht für meine drei Katzen als Alleinfutter gute 5 Wochen. Mit handelsüblichem Nassfutter bei etwa gleichem Preis für drei Katzen käme ich gerade mal zwei Wochen hin. Anderes Trockenfutter nehmen sie seit dem ersten Bissen nicht mehr an. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und meine Katzen lieben es.
Meine Mietze ist wieder gesund
Meine Katze fing im März an überall blutig hinzupullern, sie hatte vorher noch nie irgendwo hingemacht. Mein Mann war dann mit ihr beim Tierarzt, dieser stellte Harnsteine fest, eher unüblich für eine Katze, da eher Kater davon befallen sind. Er empfohl das Katzenfutter, welches wir natürlich auch sofort bestellten, da es hier viel günstiger als in der Zoohandlung war. Sie hörte wenige Tage später auf hinzumachen, ist eine Woche später wieder fit gewesen, es schmeckt ihr sehr gut (dem Kater auch) und sie hat sehr schönes Fell bekommen. bin sehr begeistert und kann es nur jedem empfehlen liebder das Geld zu investieren statt günstig etwas beim Real zu kaufen, steht zwar das gleiche drauf hilft aber überhaupt nicht!
super Futter, hilft!
Meine Katze hatte schon 3 oder 4 Mal Blut im Urin. Meine Tierärztin hat sie untersucht und jedes Mal Kristalle und kleine Steinchen festgestellt. Seit ich ihr dieses Futter gebe, ist damit Ruhe. Es geht ihr gut, sie hat keine Beschwerden mehr. Sie darf aber auch wirklich (!) kein (!!!) anderes Futter mehr zu sich nehmen, sonst ginge das Spiel von vorne los. Ich bin dankbar für dieses Futter! PerfektUPDATE: Ich bestelle das Futter dauerhaft. Meine Katze bekommt nichts anderes mehr. Futternet liefert unglaublich schnell und meiner Katze schmeckt es :) Viel wichtiger aber: das Futter ist unschlagbar, sie hat keine Probleme mehr mit Harnsteinen etc.!
Nie wieder etwas anderes
Seit Jahren kämpft mein Kater immer wieder Blasenentzündungen. Von Anfang war der Ansatz der Tierärztin das Problem mittels des Futters in den Griff zu bekommen. Erst dieses Futter war das zielführend. Mittlerweile füttere ich seit 6Jahre nur noch hiermit und dem dazu gehörigen Nassfutter. Zwischenzeitlich hatte ich aus Kostengründen versucht auf ein anderes Futter zu wechseln, aber es dauerte gerade mal drei Tage da war die Blasenentzündung wieder da. Von daher ist das Produkt jeden einzelnen Euro wert.

Been using this for years to feed my ginger tom Garfield (who is sitting on my lap as a write this).The price from the vets at one time was excellent... £25 for 6KG, but I remember several years back the price doubled so for a while now I've been getting it online for aruond £35-£40.It prevents blockages from occuring in the urinary tract plus the nutritional support it provides is excellent. On top of that the cats love it and if other cats eat it, it won't do them any harm... in fact it'd probably do them a load of good.Excellent product with a good quantity. Price is reasonable but I wouldn't pay more than £40 for it - otherwise I'd look elsewhere. Lasts several months.
Great stuff - cured my cats phantom cystitus
My male cat Yoshi suffers from cronic phantom cystitus (unknown cause) and since switching to this food he lives a happy cystitus free life. He will be two years old in April 2016.We also have another cat Smudge who is more on the elderly side, but the vet assured me that they can both eat this food - so no having to seperate at meal times etc.Both of them absolutely love it, even more so than the James Wellbeloved they were on.If your cat is suffering from chronic cystitus then I reccomend soimething like cystophan or similar to sprinkle over the food just for an initial boost. I would always do that with my cat Yoshi at first, but following a stint in hospital recently where my husband just put the food down without the capsule he has been just fine so not a necessity.

bought this for my male cat with a possible urinary tract infection - recommended by my vet ... my cat seems fully recovered now but I have continued to purchase this as all of my male cats love this...It is very good nutritionally . the cats don't require a large amount for good health and can have this with just a small bit of other food added for variety... They also now drink more water - which is good..a good price too ... and much cheaper than the vet's pricealso seems more expensive than buying Whiskas or Go Cat etc but works out better as the cats need less .. eat every morsel and don't tire of the flavour...and stay healthy.
My cat cry's for it...he loves it!
I have a 12 year old male cat who had a build up of crystals a year ago and ended up in a great deal of pain and in the vets. He was put on this diet for 6 weeks until the crystal build up had cleared up (with tablets).Fudge (my cat) had previously tried a couple of dried foods and not been too keen. He also was not keen on wet food and quite fussy. As soon as I put him on this however he has been like a changed cat. I can honestly say he now cry's for his food, is far less grumpy than he was and also drinking much more water (I also bought him a fountain!) to ensure he does not get ill again.Been on the food over a year now and if he runs out he refuses to eat wet food or other dry anymore. Not as cheap as some foods but he is much happier and healthier!
Great product
We have ben told that we have no choice but to feed this to our cats instead of "regular" cat food due to health problems. They have been eating it for several years now and seem to enjoy it! They don't seem to be interested in any other brands when we make them available - this seems to be their fave. So, seems to be doing the trick :-) Delivery was prompt, and I find this to be good value for money, compared to what they tend to charge at the vets/pharmacies.
