Too good to be true
If I could give zero stars, I would! I should have known the price was too good to be true. It was. First and last time I order from Amazon abroad. I only did so because this shade has been discontinued in the UK and I have been using it for years. My joy at finding it here was shortlived. I went to use it yesterday and narrowly averted disaster! My suspicions were aroused immediately on preparing when I noticed the mixture immediately turning an interesting shade of peach, rather than the initial lilac. I continued to give the product the benefit of the doubt for a few more minutes, however, it rapidly became apparent the dye was in no shape or form turning into the correct shade. Instead, the dye continued to transform into a shade of what I can only describe as orangutan orange! I opened the second box of the several I had bought, to see if mu experience had been an unfortunate one-off. Sadly not. The same thing happened. I didn't bother checking the remaining boxes and have disposed of all of them. Lesson learnt. My advice is don't buy this product. I cannot accept it is a legitimate Garnier product. Save your money and a lot of distress and disappointment, unless, of course, you like the idea of having orangutan orange hair!!!
