This is the classic Branston sweet pickle, with small chunks.It is made up of pickled vegetable chunks in an apple and vinegar sauce, so it is both sweet and sour at the same time; not quite a chutney, but similar. The typical use is with cheese, but you can eat it just by itself. This is the small chunk version which is better for spreading on bread. It also keeps well - you can keep it in a cupboard (with the lid on) without it spoiling, it doesn't have to go in the fridge. Branston Pickle ist die beste Zutat auf jedem Käse und in jedem Sandwich. Besonders small chunk lässt sich gut verarbeiten.Anmerkung für Amazon, da ich diese nirgends anders loswerden kann:Leider war meine letzte Bestellung schlecht verpackt. Zwar waren beide Gläser in Luftpolstertaschen, jedoch waren diese in einem simplen Umschlag verpackt. Ein Glas hat den Transport nicht überstanden. Rückerstattung lief problemlos. Bitte demnächst wieder in einem Karton verpacken!!!

A taste of England

Goes great with sandwiches containing cheese. Goes well with curries too. Packed vey well. I’d like to share a photo but it was finished too quickly, its that good.

Ich mag diese Sandwich Pickel. Sehr gerne und habe sie mir zum zweiten Mal bestellt. Ich finde die spezielle Note des Geschmacks gibt mein belegten Broten einen tollen Dreh.

Eines der beiden Gläser war bereits geöffnet und etwa 2 Esslöffel des Inhalts waren entnommen worden.Beide Gebinde waren ordnungsgemäß und stoßgesichert verpackt. Das Öffnen und Entnehmen muss daher vor dem Versand erfolgt sein.

We love Branston Pickle!

These came nicely packaged, and nothing was broken or open. Be prepared for two giant jars. These are the biggest jars of Branston pickle I’ve ever seen! It’s perfect because I’m hosting a British afternoon tea and will be making a Tea sandwich using Branston pickle and extra sharp cheddar cheese. The ladies are going to love it. I’m sure most of them have never tasted Branston pickle. Such a treat because it’s hard to come by. I highly recommend this seller and this product. Thankful to be able to get this on Amazon since I couldn’t find it anywhere else.
