Gut verpackt und zusätzlich mit Kabelbindern transportgesichert - diese bitte vor Gebrauch entfernen.Kette zum sicheren Aufhängen liegt bei, auch ausreichend in Länge - man braucht nur ein/zwei Nägel oder Spaxschrauben.Funktioniert wie beschrieben, zweifache Beleuchtung ist allerdings ziemlich hell (-blau) - also nicht für Nachtbetrieb im Schlafzimmer geeignet, es sei denn, man möchte gerade nicht schlafen :-)...Entladung mit Kurzschluß über Insektenkontakte ist relativ laut, und je nach Feuchtigkeit (der Insekten) manchmal auch geruchsintensiv, aber auf jeden Fall eindeutig! Da kommt nichts lebendig durch - so soll es ja auch sein!

Effective but very loud!

The device worked pretty well but there was one thing I wasn't aware of: it's very loud while it kills even the smallest fly in the world. Perhaps in a big comercial kitchen would be helpful but even in that case I would be annoyed to hear that very loud noise all the time, otherwise it does what it's supposed to do rather well.Nonetheless, I had to send it back.

Highly efficient and easy to clean

Living in Northern Scandinavia during summer is sometimes pure hell because of the mosquito population and their breeding cycle.Having said that, this trap cannot be compared in terms of efficiency to other kind of traps such as the ones using heat, carbondioxide or Octenol, but it still deals with the mosquito problem; one mosquito at the time.Even though it still makes me jump every single time because of the noise level, it is still satisfying to know that every *zap* kills yet another mosquito.Having placed the trap in my woodworking shop, it took less than a week before I had to empty out the tray which had filled up with dead mosquitos and gnats and that is good value for money, in my opinion.° PROS °+ The UV-light has a good brightness+ Easy to operate and clean+ Kills mainly mosquitos; no butterflies or moths+ Hangs securely with a metallic chain° CONS°- Loud *zap* when it kills a mosquito, albeit all electric mosquito killers makes the same noise- Tricky to get wall-mountedAll in all this is a great mosquito trap with good value for money, but it will take some getting used to the sound it makes when killling a mosquito, so if you scare easily like me, maybe consider placing it a bit further away from your outdoor dining table.

Am 13.08.2025 gekauft. Im März 2026 alle Funktionen eingestellt. Immerhin hat es fast sieben Monate funktioniert. Keine Kaufempfehlung. Dafür ist es dann auch zu teuer, für den Preis erwarte ich mehr.

It’s cheap and comes with replacement bulbs, It gets all the flys but it’s super loud can’t put it in a bedroom.

Does not kill big flies, scares pets

This works pretty well, but there are things to consider. It is small and light enough to not be too invasive inside. Although, let's face it, no one would want one of these in the house unless they were desperate. You must really have a bug problem if you have fallen so far as to have an "electronic exterminator" in your house. Poor you; I bet you never imagined THIS for yourself. It does not kill larger flies immediately which is a bit disgusting and disturbing. I have cluster flies in my house, they are not huge but they are bigger than the average house fly. Many victims go into the trap and lose a wing and some legs and are later seen dragging themselves along the ground. This is gross, and it is also a bit unsettling to know that the creatures are not dying right away and undoubtedly suffering. I am not extremely concerned with fly-rights, but I think only a psychopath genuinely enjoys watching animals suffer needlessly prolonged deaths. I think that something like 1 third of flies do not die right away. Also, the sound is super loud and my dog is very scared of it. I myself jumped and gave a gasp the first few times I heard it (undoubtedly confirming to him the danger of this contraption). The dog is not a nervous dog in general, but he would say this thing is very very scary! Something to keep in mind if you have pets in the house; even if you can get this thing physically out of their reach, they may find the sound of it too loud and distressing. I can imagine most cats and dogs would not be pleased with the massive ZZZAAAP sound this thing makes. I have to send my dog out of the house when it is on, otherwise he is too afraid and and cowers in a far off corner with big sad eyes that are staring at me and clearly asking "Why mother? Why must this BE!!??!" Meanwhile injured flies with half a wing are limping around the carpet and dragging their bodies past him as he cries. It all feels a bit brutal. But yes, it does kill a lot of flies and at least I am not going around and killing 40 flies by hand every day...that didn't feel very good for my soul, either. Only a person with a serious bug issue in the house can understand where we are coming from. It isn't easy, but you do what you gotta' do. Even if the solution is kind of...medieval.

Envahie de moustiques et d'autres nuisibles volants, après m'être réveillée piquée de partout et mordue 3 fois en 10 minutes devant mon ordinateur, ...J'ai décidé que trop c'est trop. Pour la même consommation qu'un ventilateur, j'ai branché cet appareil à côté de moi.Nuit douce et calme, aucune piqûres. Devant mon pc, de nombreux bruits de zap. Cet objet est magique.Simple, efficace, pas cher, économique, que demandez de plus.Il est livré avec deux néons de rechange mais je pense qu'ils sont peut-être cassés car ils font du bruit. Et seul inconvénient ... Le bruit du zap qui me fait sursauter chaque fois.
