OK modern light with some design drawbacks
I have purchased the outdoor light from Philips a while ago with the goal of using it as a balcony light.The light comes in a eco-friendly box with zero plastic packaging. Even the inner packaging is made out of thin paper (Shown in one of the pictures).The light comes with manual. But it is missing the screws for the installation.There are 4 IP6x slots for the screws, where it needs to be drilled by the users. But the IP6x covers are missing from the packaging. A surprise miss, considering the light comes with a IP6x cover for the wire hole.I would highly recommend anyone using this light to purchase 4x IP6x covers for the screw slots separately - to avoid future leakage / oxidization of the screws and possible bug issues.Front of the light is made out of plastic and very thin metal. There are 2 screws which are used to hold the white front and transparent back side of the light. I personally have used IP66 material to seal the top of the screws, just to be safe.Overall, a good light for its price but with some drawbacks.

Die Bewertung hier bezieht sich auf "PHILIPS myGarden LED Python Wandaußenleuchte mit Bewegungsmelder"Die Leuchte haben wir jetzt ca. 2 Wochen in Betrieb. Wieder einmal beweist sich ein Markenname nicht als Garant für Qualität ! Enttäuschend !Prinzipiell funktioniert die Leuchte und das LED-Licht hat eine angenehme Leuchtfarbe.Wer jedoch bei diesem Produkt jedoch wertige Technik erwartet, wird enttäuscht sein. Von hochwertig brauchen wir bei diesem Produkt nicht zu reden. Daher nur 4 Sterne !Mängel:- um die Leuchte zu montieren, muss man an den 4 vorgegebenen Langloch-Sicken die Befestigungslöcher für die Schrauben im Kunststoffgehäuse selbst bohren. Dies ist an sich kein Problem, jedoch wird nicht jeder ein geeignetes Fräswerkzeug für Langlöcher besitzen. Ohne Langlöcher ist das Ausrichten der Leuchte an der Wand kaum möglich.- die Kanten der Edelstahl-Abdeckung waren an mehreren Stellen unsauber entgratet. Dies wird zwar niemanden bei der Nutzung stören, nur bei der Montage sollte man aufpassen, um sich nicht zu verletzten.- Das größte Manko ist jedoch der Billig-Sensor. Hier lässt sich NUR die Einschaltschwelle in Abhängigkeit der Helligkeit/Dunkelheit und die Einschaltdauer einstellen. Bauartbedingt ist eine Feineinstellung eine Fummelei und ein gewisses Glücksspiel. Eine Empfindlichkeitseinstellung in Abhängigkeit von der Entfernung ist NICHT vorhanden - schade ! Damit reagiert der Sensor auf kleinste Bewegungen von jeglichen Objekten.Die technisch minderwertige Sensor-Qualität äußert sich auch darin, dass bei Ein- oder Aus-Schaltvorgängen von verschiedenen anderen Verbrauchern im Haus der Leuchten-Sensor reproduzierbar anspricht.Das andauernde Ansprechen der Außenleuchte ist zwar ärgerlich, jedoch bei 6W Verbrauch mir schlichtweg egal.Daher werde ich die Leuchte auch nicht wieder demontieren.Eine technisch vergleichbare Außenleuchte findet man bei einem "no-name"-Hersteller sicher preiswerter.

Bewertung nach ca. 1 Jahr: die Licht ist gut und funktioniert wie es sein sollte. Anpassung die Sensorik ist einfach and man kann genau einstellen, wie es benoetigt.
optisch schön, aber leider defekt
Die Lampe ist optisch schön, macht am Gartenhaus auch warmes, angenehmes Licht. ABER nur 1 Sternzum einen ist die Abdeckung nur dünnes Kunststoff, es fehlten zwei Schrauben in der Lüsterklemme, ein Anschließen so nicht möglich. Aber der Hauptgrund warum die Lampe zurück geht ist das sie Dauer leuchtet, also der Bewegungssensor absolut nicht funktioniert. Philips Qualität ist das nicht.

Entgegen vieler anderer Rezensionen kann ich an der Lampe nichts aussetzen!Qualität:Ja, sie ist aus Plastik, und wirkt dabei doch qualitativ hochwertig. Wer mehr erwartet, nur weil es sich um es eine Lampe der Marke "Philips" handelt, sollte auch mehr Geld in die Hand nehmen.Montage:Sie ist relativ leicht anzubringen! In die Form muss nicht gebohrt werden, da man kann die Schrauben mithilfe eines Akkuschraubers auch direkt durch die Form drehen kann. Da es sich nicht um billiges Plastik handelt, bricht dieses dabei auch nicht.Licht: Die Lampe macht ein angenehm warmes Licht und ist für einen 12 qm großen Balkon schon fast zu hell.Bewegungsmelder: Ich habe die Lampe ohne den Bewegungsmelder erworben, deshalb kann ich zu dessen Funktion nichts sagen.Fazit: Würde ich definitiv wieder kaufen!

Lampada da esterno, facile da montare ed esteticamente molto bella. Non è molto luminosa ma per quello che mi serve è perfetta. I materiali sembrano robusti e resistenti. Mi è piaciuta talmente tanto che ne ho prese 4, approfittando anche delle offerte Amazon. Spedizione e consegna impeccabili. Consiglio l’acquisto per chi vuole illuminare un piccolo poggiolo o terrazzino.
Great lighting
Bought second one to go further along garden wall, looks good lower than up high. Mines 1.2 mt off the floor and gives the garden the lighting that it deserves. As its led i run my 4 outside ligts via a contactor and time clock. Recommended

Nous cherchions un éclairage extérieur à détecteur pour éclairer le devant de notre maison lorsque nous rentrons chez nous (en voiture ou à pied).En + d'être très design/élégant, il est de bonne qualité et éclaire très bien (chose que nous avions peur au vue de la puissance de la LED affiché dans le descriptif et du petit prix).Seul petit bémol, l'angle de détection étant de 110°, lorsque les voitures des voisins passent devant chez nous, la lumière s'allume... Heureusement que c'est du LED :-)
