Wie erwartet
Gewohnte Qualität von Petromax. Ideale Größe für 4-5 Personen mit gutem Appetit. Nutze ihn sowohl klassisch für Schichtfleisch und andere Schmorgerichte, als auch als Erweiterung meines Gasgrills (Deckel als kleine Plancha).
Perfekte Ergebnisse!
Habe den dutch oven gekauft, um darin Brot zu backen! Das Ergebnis spricht, für sich! Brot, wie vom Bäcker! Die Hitze in diesem Topf, hält sich wahnsinnig lange! Wollte eigentlich, nur Brot damit backen! Mittlerweile bin ich aber davon überzeugt, dass man darin auch tolle Gerichte kochen kann! Werde ich am Wochenende, testen! Er lässt sich super, nur mit Wasser reinigen! Stelle ihn zum Trocknen, in den Ofen und reibe ihn danach mit Öl ein! Also alles unkompliziert!
Ein Multitalent
Noch heute denke ich schmunzelnd zurück an einen Tag, an dem ich mich mit einem Bekannten beim Grillen unterhielt. Dieser schwärmte mir von seinem neuen Dutchoven vor, während ich nur müde und etwas gelangweilt abwinkte. "Das kann ich genausogut im Bräter machen" meinte ich damals.Doch irgendwann wurde auch ich immer wieder mit diesem Gusserzeugnis konfrontiert und letztendlich legte auch ich mir einen zu. Ich bin wirklich überrascht wie vielseitig das Ding ist!Bei der Größe war ich mir zunächst etwas unschlüssig und musste mich erst mal einlesen. Wir sind ein Drei-Personen-Haushalt mit ganz guten Essern. Da reicht der ft4.5 tatsächlich für das Meiste vollkommen aus. Wenn Gäste kommen wäre ein ft6 (oder größer) meistens besser. Aber wie sagt man ja immer: Die Dinger vermehren sich gerne 😄Besonders regelmäßig nutze ich den Topf übrigens zum Brot backen. Ehrlich, jetzt schmeckt das Brot wieder wie in meiner Kindheit. Hier mangelt es nämlich mittlerweile an guten Bäckern... Wegen der Optik und des Geschmacks ernte ich regelmäßig Komplimente.Die Verarbeitung ist von robuster Schlichtheit. Gut gepflegt sollten die Dinger ewig halten.Die Pflege gestaltet sich relativ simpel, dauert aber etwas: Zumeist reicht eine Reinigung mit Wasser (kein Spülmittel). Danach schön einfetten/ölen, fertig.Ist der Topf mal richtig krustig, steigere ich die Reinigungsintensität. Dann nehme ich Spülmittel und lasse alles einweichen. Grillreiniger brauchte ich bislang nicht. Danach sollte der Topf aber gut ausgewaschen und neu eingebrannt werden.
Genialer Topf /Dutch 🤩
Genialer Topf das ist jetzt mein vierter, man sofort damit loslegen 😉Vielseitig verwendbar ,sämtliche Gerichte werden Sehr schmackhaft.Bei guter Pflege hält der Dopf“ ein Leben lang ,Es macht einfach sehr viel Spaß mit dem Topf zu kochen egal ob Gasgrill,Kohlen, oder Herd Einfach top.niemals mit Spülmittel auswaschen oder in die Spülmaschine !!!!!
Sehr gute Produkt.
Wir haben uns aus Südafrika bereits einige dieser Töpfe mitgebracht und viel genutzt. Da dieser Dutch Oven keine "Beine" hat, kann er auch gut auf unseren Gasgrill genutzt werden. Sehr gut geeignet für Sauerkrautgerichte oder auch Grünkohlzubereitung auf dem Gasgrill (auch im Winter)

A Great Dutch Oven
This is the second of two Dutch ovens I own. I was so impressed with my, smaller, first one I bought the larger 4.5 model. It cooks great casseroles in both the kitchen oven and on the BBQ. Definitely worth the money. Enjoy.

Bello , pesante e funzionale. Molto capiente , consente cotture di vario tipo, io lo uso anche diretto sul barbecue. Il coperchio è a sua volta una piastra/padella. Dopo ogni utilizzo lo lavo con acqua calda e basta, e poi lo ungo per prevenire la ruggine.
