    The best soap ever

    This soap smells like heaven. It's the purest, loveliest sandalwood I've ever smelled. The best part is how long the scent lingers after you use it. I hope this soap never goes out of production because I'll buy it until I'm dead.

    Very Nice despite Recent Price Increase

    I've been using this soap, alternating with Mysore Sandal, for about eight years now, since I tried them while living and working in the Middle East. I looked for it at a local Indian grocery when my self-imported supply was down to the last bar, but no joy. My Amazon price was about three times what I used to pay over there, and that was before Amazon's recent 16.67% surprise price increase that hit between adding it to my wish list and actually buying. But that doesn't detract from the quality of this soap. I like the aroma, and no doubt my skin likes the small traces of all those essential oils. One thing I try to remember in all my reviews: If I had it to do over again, knowing what I know now, would I still buy it? Yes.

    When I was a child growing up in India, it was either Medimix or Hammam that my father would buy. I have never used the "sandalwood" version of Medimix before. Pleasant scent though slightly more pricey that I would expect.

    We always purchase from this vendor. But this time we could see that the soap quality is changed. There are traces of color on the soap. Not sure if it is original.
