Incredibly sturdy and easy to pack away
I started gardening on my balcony last year, raising mostly local vegetables and a few flowers that attract bees and butterflies.I had great success with these growing bags except for some cases (cucumbers and carrots) where, due to my own inexperience, I planted them too close together and the fruit they bore were tiny.Drainage:The material drains really well when you overwater or have lots of rain. In my area last year, we had a few incredibly hot days followed by huge downpours that sometimes lasted for days. The soil would be at a perfect moisture level again after half a day or so after getting absolutely soaked and I never had issues with standing or stagnating water.Sturdyness:I'm reusing a lot of the soil this year and so most of my bags (I purchased 15 of this size and 2 of the shorter, oval ones) were left outside with soil in them. I cleaned them today by removing some leaves that had fallen on and removing a few weeds sprouting here and there and carried them downstairs because I'm moving to our terrace and planting more food this time around. The bags are as nice and sturdy as they were after I purchased them last year. I specifically checked for holes or loose threads and couldn't find a single one. I even had some areas where I could see sticks poking the material from the inside (I filled some of the bags like you would a raised bed for herbs with very shallow roots) and it didn't penetrate or visibly damage them. I also had to carry bags filled to the brim with soil and the side handles had zero issue with the weight. Again, no torn stitches or anything and no noticeable stretching.I was also worried that they might bulge out and the material would become too porous over time, so that soil and tiny bits of plant matter might get through. However, after a full season and leaving them fully exposed outside during a moderately cold German winter, I can safely say there is no bulging, thinning or discoloring of any kind happening.Negatives:I'm overall incredibly happy with these and if I need more plant bags, it'll definitely be from this brand. However, two things to keep in mind that don't really bother me that much but might be important to you:-> The bags heat up very well and retain a lot of heat. Especially during our hotter days, the bags were noticeably hot to the touch and the very edge of the soil was often fully dried out. Since I'm in a zone 7b, those this extra heat was brilliant for my more sun and heat loving plants like tomatoes. So after noticing this issue, I simply moved the bags around on my balcony and positioned the more heat loving / resistant plants so that the sides of their bags were more exposed. During the hottest days, I opted to water twice per day and reduce the amount of each watering a bit. This worked out perfectly.-> Carrying the full bags can be a bit annoying. They're obviously quite heavy and the handles on the sides aren't wide enough for my hands to comfortably fit through while wearing gardening gloves. It was doable, but I got stuck a few times while trying to remove my hand. Without gloves, the material is quite rough and uncomfortable if you have to carry it for longer distances. Obviously, I don't plan on carrying full bags around every other day, but keep this in mind if you are in a situation where you will have to move them a lot. Pulling them a few feet if you want to pull them under a sun roof or some such works fine.
Super für Minz-Arten und andere Kräuter
Habe mir diese 30l Version für hauptsächlich Minzen gekauft. Das Wurzelwerk ist in diesen Pflanzsäcken optimal belüftet, sodass die Minze sehr robust und stark austreibt!Mit Staunässe hat man überhaupt keine Probleme!In der nächsten Saison möchte ich mal probieren, wie Chilis darin gedeihen.Die Säcke habe ich schon mehrmals wiederverwendet. Klar werden die mit der Zeit etwas fleckiger, da sie sich fast wie Filzstoff anfühlen, aber da sie draußen im Beet stehen, ist das für mich nicht tragisch.Mit einem freischneider sollte man nicht in die Nähe kommen. Das gibt direkt nen Loch ;)Besser als jeder Kunststoff-Pflanztopf!Benutze ich nur noch. Hauptsächlich auch in 60l Größe, die für meine Bedürfnisse eher die idealgröße darstellt für breitere Anwendungen!(Z.b. auch als Sack für Grünabfall: Dieser trocknet und stinkt dann nicht wie in einem plastikgewebe-Sack)
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ Praktische Pflanzsäcke mit kleinen Schwächen
Die Pflanzsäcke sind gut verarbeitet, wasser- und luftdurchlässig – ideal für gesundes Pflanzenwachstum und zur Schimmelvermeidung. Sie haben eine gute Größe, lassen sich platzsparend verstauen und sind mehrfach wiederverwendbar. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: Die Griffe könnten stabiler sein, vor allem bei voller Bepflanzung. Insgesamt aber ein sehr gutes Produkt mit fairem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!
Hält was es verspricht
Toll für auf Sitzplatz, Balkon oder im Garten - sind alle schon gefüllt und es wächst und tut.. Prima ware!
Stabil und durchlässig – Perfekt für meine Feigen und Weintrauben
Ich nutze die GardenMate Pflanzsäcke für meine Feigenbäume und Weintrauben. Die Säcke sind aus einem dicken, reißfesten Vliesstoff gefertigt. Besonders gut gefällt mir, dass sie Staunässe verhindern und die Wurzeln „atmen“ können. Das Tragen an den stabilen Griffen klappt selbst in gefülltem Zustand super. Meine Pflanzen scheinen sich darin sehr wohl zu fühlen und wachsen kräftig, wie man auf den Fotos sehen kann. Wer nach einer Alternative zu Plastiktöpfen sucht, wird hier fündig. Ein tolles Produkt!

Schicke 30 Liter-Pflanzsäcke, fühlen sich robust an.
Sehr dekorativ aussehende Pflanzsäcke. Ich habe 30 Liter genommen für meine Tomaten. Die Säcke scheinen robust zu sein, sind mehrfach verwendbar, luft- und wasserdurchlässig. Konnte ich zwar jetzt noch nicht testen. Sollte sich was Negatives ergeben, schreibe ich einen Zusatz.Allerdings habe ich mir jetzt noch Drainage-Untersetzer gekauft, weil die Säcke sonst auf den Bodenplatten stehen würden. Ich vermute, dass durch das wenige Abtrocknen der Sackunterseite die Haltbarkeit reduziert wird. Außerdem kann das Wasser besser ablaufen, da die Tomaten ohne Dach stehen.
Würde ich wieder kaufen
Wir haben alle unsere Bäumchen und Sträucher in Pflanzsäcke gepackt, mal schauen, ob es ihnen gefällt. Die Säcke fühlen sich sehr stabil an und das eintopfen war easy. Allerdings haben wir sie in Pflanzübertöpfen, damit die Terrasse sauber bleibt.

Love the look of these filled with soil and flowers/bulbs sprouting up. I have a patio that needed sprucing up and bought these to pant vegies and flowers in. OK so I bought the large ones but they look awesome and really help to hold the water!

Me costaron 16,87€ en Julio de 2020.Su precio más alto ha sido ahora en abril de 2021: 28,19€.Su precio más bajo fue en febrero de 2018: 13,95€.Precio medio: 18,97€.Con estos datos os podéis hacer una idea de los precios que ha tenido y decidir si comprar o no (según precio) o esperar ;)En cuanto al producto en si. Muy contento. Compré 3 de 30L y estamos muy contentos. El año pasado (2020) se utilizaron para cultivar plantas prohibidas. Mi primera vez, gracias al confinamiento.Realmente fueron muy bien. Drenan mucho. Son transportables. Estéticamente, aunque parezcan sencillas, son bonitas y si le pones un poco de imaginación quedan muy muy bonitas.Dudaba que las pudiera reutilizar este año (2021), pero después de un buen lavado y desinfección... ¡Están (prácticamente) como nuevas! Si que es cierto que a la hora de limpiarlas hay que tener cierto cuidado y no ser muy agresivo para no romper ninguna costura, pero si lo haces con calma y cuidado, sin ningún problema.Este año las utilizaré para otros cometidos (tomates, patatas y "prado japonés") y parece que estan funcionando perfecto.RESUMEN: Buenas "macetas" para cultivar "las cosas del huerto", con un muy buen tamaño y en caso que la tengas que guardar por no utilizarla no ocupa ni espacio ni lugar.
