good product, but orangey!
Pros:- The pomade lasts a long long time/is water proof- It glides smoothly on a brush/on your brows- The brush it comes with is actually useful (I usually end up throwing away the attached brushes)- Fast shippingCons:- If you apply the product lightly, it’s very orange, rather than light blonde or greyish as it should be.In the photo you see my natural roots (light brown) along with my light dyed blonde hair, and you can clearly see the pomade on my brows is orange in comparison. It shows even more so in the sun- I had to pair it with a grey eyeshadow in order to get a more natural colour

I really love this!
I was going to wait a while until I reviewed this but I got pretty excited about it after I applied it for the first time. This stuff does stay put and wears long. I read the reviews that said it smeared or didn’t stay long. I’m thinking they might have applied over moisturizer. I didn’t. I applied this first and applied moisturizer afterwards without getting any on my eyebrows.The product was easy to use with the provided brush which I have found is capable of Precision application. I am no artist, I just followed the hair path. No stencils ever. I used to use cover girl pencils in soft brown for many years but the pencils tear out already thinning eyebrows due to age so I wanted an easier way without losing any more hairs. This is it! I purchased the light blonde since I read the reviews. I have light brown hair and this color is perfect! I would say the reviews are right on, the product runs dark. I like the color much better than the pencil I use because there is no reddish or warm tint. It is true to light brown with an ash tint. I suppose some people like a darker tone to their brows but I wear very little make up and this is perfect and actually enhances my look. Very happy and pleased with this product. It will last a long time if it doesn’t dry out. I can’t even tell where I used any.
I will never go back to pencil again!
I love the shade “blonde.” This goes on better than pencil, smoother (no gaps like pencil), the perfect brush is shaped perfect for drawing the shape and the little roller brush on the other end is perfect for smoothing out to the shape. This stays all day (night too?). Easily comes off with eye makeup remover (Neutrogena or generic equivalent) & cotton pad. I would recommend cleaning the brush with a cotton ball/pad with make up remover after use, because the brush can dry hard with the residue left. I just keep a tiny lidded jar (the teeny glass jam ones)with cut up cotton pads saturated with the make up remover at my dressing table and wipe the brush & discard the used cotton when I finish. One of my make up hacks. I love this eye makeup and the blonde shade is FABULOUS. I’m a have fairer complexion so brown & black is too harsh. Maybelline EYE-Tatoo, where have you been all my life!!!!??? Note one reviewer didn’t like that the brush hairs fell off right out of the box, that didn’t happen to me, mine was sturdy enough, but buying a replacement brush for this product is so worth it!
Looks natural and lasts
Finally a brow product that actually works! Having gone through every variation of pencil, powder with wax, mascara style applicator, etc it was always a choice between a product that lasted, or one that looked natural - anything that stayed put, by definition looked too dark, gloppy or fake. It takes a little practice to get the right amount on the applicator, and then sweep the brush through quickly before it sets. Once it’s on, lasts all day (and through the shower unless you soap and wash directly). Also helps there are a number of shades - the light blonde is the closest to my natural color I’ve yet found. Nyx makes a similar product but it comes in a tube rather than a jar and without an applicator. The pomade is so thick the product quickly dries and clogs the tube - after getting squeezed hard a number of times, the tube pops at the bottom. Maybelline’s jar/brush combo is a hundred times better design.
