Endlich ohne Zecken. Begeisterung bei Mensch und Hund!
Wir sind begeistert denn endlich ohne Zecken! - und das auch noch ohne Chemie. Wir haben schon einige Jahre andere Tabletten gegeben, zusätzlich etwas Schwarzkümmelöl ins Futter, die Pfoten mit Palmöl eingerieben daher es waren zwar wenige Zecken - im Vergleich zu den anderen Hunden - aber doch einige. Vor einiger Zeit habe ich bei Amazon diese Leckereien gefunden. Die Hunde fressen es gerne und wir haben schon über 4 Wochen keine Zecke mehr entdeckt. Wunderbar! Haben die nächste Dose direkt wieder bestellt. Wir sind begeistert!Wir sind weiterhin begeistert und unsere Hunde freuen sich jeden Abend auf den leckeren Snack. Allerdings sind seit der Änderung der Form fast alle Stücke zerbröselt und den letzten Tag ist es dann der Hit auf dem normalen Essen. Wir finden es allerdings nicht so gut! Und wünschen uns die alte Form zurück. Aber die zecken bleiben nach wie vor weg und das ist das wichtigste. Letztes jahr hatten wir pro hund vllt 2-3 zecken. Also wirklich suuuuper! Super Produkt. Punktabzug beim Preis und Umweltbelastung
Wir haben uns nach einer Alternative zum Nervengift in Tropfenform umgesehen und sind dabei auf Zeggi Weggi gestoßen.Bevor wir Zeggi Weggi benutzen, kam immer "Spot on" oder ähnliches in Tropfenform für den Nacken zur Anwendung. Nachdem unser Rudi allerdings einmal sehr apathisch auf die Tropfen reagierte, machte ich mich schlau und war entsetzt über mich und das was ich meinem Hund mit den Tropfen antue.Also musste eine Alternative her. Zeggi Weggi war der erste Test und hat uns überzeugt. Sie treffen den Geschmack unseres Hundes und wirken zuverlässig. Klar, wenn man seinen Hund 4 Stunden durch Hüfthohes Gras jagt, dann wird er sich auch hier und da seine Zecke abbekommen. Wir laufen täglich mehrere Stunden auf Feldwegen und er hat seit Nutzung KEINE einzige Zecke bekommen. Vorher waren es 2-3 pro Woche (trotz Schutz).Bei einem aktuellen Preis von ca. 24 Euro bin ich nicht ganz zufrieden. Hier sollte man evtl. noch etwas reduzieren. Auch die Plastikbox ist irgendwie 1990. Es gibt mittlerweile genug umweltschonende Alternativen.Alles in Allem ein gutes Produkt, aber etwas teuer.200 Snacks (pro Packung), bei einem 31kg Hund (6-7 Snacks pro Tag), sind nach etwas mehr als einem Monat verbraucht. Wir haben daher auf 4 pro Tag reduziert. Ergebnis trotzdem 100%.
Scheint zu wirken, aber Punktabzug beim Preis
Ich habe die Zeggi Weggi Premium Drops ausprobiert und bin insgesamt zufrieden. Die Mischung aus Schwarzkümmelöl, Zistrose und Kokosöl scheint zu wirken. Mein Hund verträgt die Drops gut und frisst sie gerne. Ob Zufall oder nicht Zecken waren bis jetzt auch keine mehr. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist der hohe Preis. Mit 400 g für einen stolzen Betrag finde ich das Produkt etwas zu teuer, weshalb ich einen Stern abziehe. Trotzdem empfehlenswert für diejenigen, denen der Preis nichts ausmacht.
They actually work!
I'm not usually one to write a review but this product has impressed me so much that I had to share. I honestly didn't think this would work but was willing to try anything and now I am so excited that I found these anti tick treats. Our dogs were coming home from their walks with multiple ticks, mostly dead or crawling on their fur, even though they take a flea and tick medicine every three months. Since we started these snacks a few weeks ago we have found a total of one tick, thankfully it was dead from the other medicine. Our dogs love them and are very happy to have them as daily treats. I hope their effectiveness continues through the summer!
Nichts für einen ausgefallenen Winter / Risikogebiete
Vorab, die Leckerlies funktionieren bei meinem Hund bedingt.Durch den ausgefallenen Winter ist dieses Jahr Zecken-Hochsaison.Mein Hund hat mit ca.37cm Höhe die perfekte Größe um alles vom Boden einzusammeln was gerade so in der Umgebung auf ihn wartet. Zudem (so habe ich es mit von meiner Tierärztin erklären lassen) gibt es bei Hunden welche die eher von Zecken befallen sind und welche die nie welche haben werden. Meiner ist wohl die Kategorie -hermitdenZecken-. Letztes Jahr hatte er nicht eine Zecke (ich wohne in einem fast-keine-Zecken-Gebiet). Dieses Jahr, aufgrund des ausgefallenen Winters, wollte ich bei meinem Jungspund vorbeugen ohne ihn mit Chemie zu belasten.Er hat die Leckerlies 3 Monate durchgehend genommen und bei mir in der Region nur eine Zecke gehabt. Danach ging es in den Urlaub - Zecken-Risiko.Gebiet - ...Innerhalb von 4 Tagen habe ich ihm 7 Zekcen gezogen + diverse vom Fell abgesammelt. Danach wurden die Leckerlies abgesetzt.Geschmacklich fand mein Hund die Leckerlies nicht sonderlich ansprechend, wurden mit ein bischen Futterneid aber trotzdem gefressen.Nachdem ich die Leckerlies abgesetzt habe hatte er innerhalb von 2 Monaten zwei Zecken.Mein Fazit: Es unterstützt die Zeckenabwehr auf natürliche Weise, kann aber nicht bei hoher Zeckengefahr schützen.Ich probiere es nun erst einmal mit einem Halband....Drückt mir die Daumen!
