Great fragrance, beautifully boxed for gifting! Rated for 60 hours.
I really loved this fragrance! I could detect the aroma as soon as I got it out of the shipping box. It was quite strikingly boxed, I thought, and ready for gifting as is. It looks very classy in and out of the box it is wrapped in. It's rated, according to the side of the box, for 60 hours.One thing I look for in a quality candle is tunneling; where the wax doesn't burn evenly. By far the most common reason for a candle tunnel is not lighting it properly on the first burn. When you get a new candle, the first time that you light it up is actually the most important: it will determine the quality of the burn for all the subsequent times. So when you get ready to light up your new candle for the first time, be very careful. This candle makes the cut.First, you should have at least a few hours ahead of you. This is because fully melting the wax on the surface of a candle takes longer the first time around. With a smaller diameter candle, you can expect the wax to burn completely in 2 to 3 hours. But with a larger candle, especially one that doesn’t have multiple wicks (this candle has a single wick), you’d be advised to wait at least 4 hours, or until all the wax has melted completely, before you put it out again. This candle had very little tunneling at all and I burnt it for 3 1/2 hours to begin with. This added to my belief that this was a quality candle.The only negative I had with this candle was really no fault of the candle itself, but it might affect others with sinus issues like I have. Certain candles and essential oils tend to make my nose stuffy. Unfortunately, this one does that to me, but not as badly as some. This candle definitely fills the room with a pleasant aroma and it's not really overpowering. I can detect it before entering the room as well, and I really like that. I like to really be able to smell the fragrance and this candle does that for me. 5 stars!

This smell was fantastic! I could smell it as soon as I took it out of the delivery box. It was beautifully packed, I thought, and ready for giving right away. It appears to be quite nice both inside and outside of the box in which it is packaged. According to the packaging, it has a 60-hour rating. One feature I look for in a high-quality candle is tunneling, which occurs when the wax does not burn evenly. The most common cause of a candle tunnel is improper lighting on the initial burn. When you first light a new candle, the first time is actually the most important: it determines the quality of the burn for all subsequent times. So, when you're ready to light your new candle for the first time, proceed with caution. This candle is a keeper.
