Nach sage und schreibe 9 Jahren habe ich mich schweren Herzens dazu entschlossen, mein iPhone SE 1. Generation durch ein neueres Modell abzulösen. Das Ding funktionierte nämlich noch einwandfrei, nur der Akku entlud sich innerhalb eines Tages; und zwar auch bei keiner oder minimaler Nutzung. Natürlich wäre ein Akkutausch auch noch eine Option gewesen.Stattdessen habe ich mir das Upgrade auf das refurbished iPhone 12 Mini gegönnt - größerer, besserer Bildschirm, 5G, doppelter Speicherplatz, schnellerer Prozessor, aktuelles iOS - und trotzdem nur unwesentlich größere Ausmaße als das alte SE. Das von trendyoo aufbereitete Gerät ist wie versprochen tatsächlich in hervorragendem Zustand, keinerlei Kratzer auf Display oder Rahmen, erst nach genauem Suchen habe ich eine mikroskopisch kleine Kerbe an der Außenseite eines der Kameraobjektive entdecken können. Im Gerät ist laut Verkäufer ein neuer Akku eingesetzt worden, was das iPhone mit der Meldung "Batterie nicht erkannt" anmosert - angeblich verschwindet dieser Warnhinweis üblicherweise nach sechs Wochen. Der neue Akku scheint jedenfalls die beim iPhone 12 Mini erwartbare Leistung zu bringen.Ein Detail trübte dann zunächst meine Begeisterung doch noch erheblich - der Lautsprecher oben am Gerät (also der, den man normalerweise auch zum telefonieren am Ohr benutzt) klang verzerrt. Schon bei Telefonaten, und dann völlig eindeutig beim Musik-Abspielen. Besonders klar wurde das im Vergleich zu den Lautsprechern unten. Eine Suche bei Google zeigte - das Problem war schon seinerzeit beim neuen iPhone 12 Mini nicht unbekannt. In dem Moment habe ich kurz über eine Rückgabe nachgedacht - und dann aber noch einen Ratschlag gefunden und ausprobiert: Nämlich den Lautsprecher mit einer geeigneten Bürste reinigen. Und das hat tatsächlich geholfen, der Lautsprecher zerrt nicht mehr und ich bin rundherum happy mit dem Gerät.

The device is unreliable for normal daily use.I initially reported battery concerns within the first 30 days of purchase but was advised that no fault was found at that time. The situation has since worsened.Under Directive (EU) 2019/771 on the sale of goods, a defect appearing within 12 months of delivery is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery unless the seller proves otherwise. The Directive provides consumers with remedies including repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund, depending on the circumstances.The seller has requested that I return the device for warranty repair. However, this would leave me without a phone unless I purchase another device temporarily, which is inconvenient given that a mobile phone is an essential daily item.The phone has been carefully used and remains in good physical condition.I hope this update helps other buyers understand the importance of considering after-sales support when purchasing refurbished devices.*Further Update” - Updating my original review.The seller insisted on a return for repair under warranty, rather than offering any alternative resolution. The prepaid return process itself was highly inconvenient. Initially, I was provided with a UPS drop-off location over one hour away. When I raised that this is not reasonable for many customers, I was told it was a “system issue.” Only after further back-and-forth did they agree to provide a DHL option just 15 minutes away — something that should have been offered from the outset.Regarding the repair: prior to return, the battery was not recognised by Apple, indicating a generic/non-original part. After the repair, this has been replaced with a used Apple battery, despite clear assurances that a new, original Apple battery would be fitted.Replacing a non-original battery with a used one — while promising new — is not acceptable and falls well below reasonable expectations.Customers should not have to navigate unnecessary friction in the returns process, nor accept repairs that do not match what was agreed.I strongly advise others to carefully consider the level of after-sales support before purchasing refurbished devices from this seller.

I was a little apprehensive given some of the reviews, but figured I could send it back if it wasn't satisfactory.Arrived a day early, which is nice because my other phone got run over by a car and I couldn't afford to replace it like for like.The phone is in excellent condition; one minor scratch that one really needs to look for in order to identify, so 99%, battery health 100%, touch screen 100%, speakers 100%, display 100%.Beyond happy with my purchase, which will more than see me through until my next upgrade.Thank you!
