Gut zum Vertreiben von Tauben auf der Dachkante
Ich wohne in der obersten Etage eines Mehrfamilienhauses. Vor allem im Sommer habe ich das Problem, dass eine dicke fette Taube genau über meinem Schlafzimmerfest sitzt und um sieben Uhr morgens laut gurrt. Vom Balkon aus kann ich die Taube sehen, aber Wedeln mit dem Besen beeindruckt sie leider nicht (mehr). Die Entfernung von meinem Balkon zur Taube beträgt etwa 5m.Als Lösung habe ich mir diese Wasserpistole gekauft. Sie hat einen Plastikgriff, den man erst nach vorne herauszieht. Wenn man ihn dann zurückzieht, spritzt ein dünner Strahl aus der Düse. Je nachdem wie fest man zieht, desto weiter spritzt der Strahl. Einen Abzug hat die "Waffe" nicht. Sie wird allein durch das Ziehen des weißen Griffs bedient. Dieser dient quasi als Pumpenmechanismus und lässt das Wasser bei jedem Zug herausspritzen.Die Reichweite beträgt nach meiner Einschätzung ca. 5-6m. Da das jedoch abhängig ist von der Kraft, mit der man den Griff zurückzieht, könnte ich mir vorstellen, dass man unter optimalsten Bedingungen und mir Rückenwind sogar die im Angebot angegegeben 10m schafft. Realistisch sind aber eher 5-6m wenn man sich nicht viel Mühe gibt. Trotzdem nicht schlecht. Ich hatte weniger erwartet.Die Dichtigkeit war bei meinem Exemplar mittelmäßig bis gut. Wenn man den Tank befüllt und die Waffe auf die Seite legt, läuft kein Wasser heraus. Wenn man jedoch mehrere Wasserstöße hintereinander abgibt, dann tritt Wasser im Bereich des Schiebegriffs aus. Finde ich aber noch erträglich. Nach getaner Arbeit kann man mal mit einem trockenen Tuch drübergehen und dann ist es gut.Wenn die Taube den Wasserstrahl kommen sieht, dann haut sie sofort ab, noch bevor der Wasserstrahl sie erreicht. Ich würde sie ja gerne nass spritzen, um mich für das morgendliche Wecken zu rächen. Aber dafür sind Tauben einfach viel zu schnell. Ist aber auch egal: Die Taube kann jedenfalls mit dieser Methode vertrieben werden und somit ist das Missionsziel erreicht.Fazit: War für mich kein Fehlkauf und ich kann das Produkt empfehlen.

Kein gerichteter Wasserstrahl bei dem mir gelieferten Exemplar
Bei dem mir geliefertem Exemplar kamen mehrere Wasserstrahlen in unterschiedliche Richtungen heraus - nur nicht in Längsachse wie es sein sollte. Deutet auf eine unsauber gearbeitete Austrittsdüse hin. Somit quasi unbrauchbar.
Katzen verscheuchen mit Wasserpistole
Perfekt, um die Nachbarskatze zu vertreiben. Hat eine ordentliche Reichweite und tut dem Kater nicht weh. Dicht ist sie auch, ich bin zufrieden.
