Sehr viel Stauraum
Die meisten Diabetes-Etuis sind doch recht klein geraten, sodass der mit Ungeduld gesegnete Nutzer oftmals dazu gezwungen wird, Tetris zu spielen. Bei dieser Tasche ist das jedoch definitiv nicht der Fall: Alles passt hinein, sogar meine Reserven und - warum denn auch nicht? - mein Pulsoximeter. Die Qualität ist zudem ausgezeichnet, sodass ich denke, noch lange Freude daran haben zu können.

Naja, geht so....
Erinnert mehr an die Hartschale für eine Switch. Es passt einiges rein, heutzutage könnte etwas mehr Qualität drin sitzen ( beobachte ich immer mehr: chinesische Händler orientieren sich mehr an europäischen Preisen bei gleichzeitig z.T. massiven Qualitätseinbußen).Mangels Alternativen behalten.
praktisch für Diabetikerzubehör, jedoch nicht für Pens geeignet
Die Box ist ausreichend groß, um alle notwendigen Diabetikerutensilien aufzunehmen. Sie ist als Hartschale ausgeführt. Somit haben die Utensilien drin einen guten Schutz gegen mechanische Beschädigungen.Öffnen lässt sich die Box mit einem Reißverschluss aus Plastik. Dieser ist leicht gängig.Drinnen hat man dann 2 Abteilungen: Einmal oben mit Gummischlaufen als Halterungen und im Deckel ein Fach, das mit einem Netz verschließbar ist.Unten hat man dann noch 3 Fächer, deren Größe man individuell anpassen kann. Zusätzlich wird noch ein Karabinerhaken mitgeliefert, dessen Sinn sich mir nicht erschließt.In die Box kann ich bequem mein Messgerät, die Teststreifen, den Pikser, Ersatznadeln und etwas Hygieneartikel verstauen.Ich benutze die Box für Reisen, bei denen ich auch länger als 3 Wochen unterwegs bin. Alle in dieser Zeit benötigten Artikel passen hinein und haben einen guten, aufgeräumten Platz im Koffer.Einen großen Nachteil hat allerdings die Box. Und deshalb 1 Stern Abzug.Insulin, also die Pens, sind kühlpflichtig. In der Box ist kein Platz für Kühlakkus oder andere Kühleinrichtungen. Das ist nicht vorgesehen. Also muss ich meine Pens außerhalb platzieren. Das finde ich, ist ein großer Nachteil der ansonsten schönen Box.

Just what I needed
This does not have the ability to keep things inside cool unless maybe you bought special ice packs separately BUT, it also does not appear to be insulated for that kind of use either. Luckily my pen injection devices do not have to stay refrigerated after first use so this is perfect. I have enough room to carry my glucometer, test strips, a small stock of lancets, alcohol swabs, bandaids, small stock of pen needles, antibiotic ointment and even a big tube of my eczema cream, two small containers to store used lancets & needles in until I get home AND even my spare glasses. I would imagine there would be room for one of those pocket sharps items if needed but I use empty strips bottles for that to save money. The exterior is not a hard shell but it is plenty sturdy. It comes with a strap that you attach and they provide the clasp for that as well. I taped a label on the outside to let me know which part was the bottom otherwise my items stored in there were falling out on me. The materials are nice enough for me and it is easy to clean the outside. This case is large enough to carry what I need for an outing or a trip and it even fits into a small tote bag when I need to use one. This item is easy to carry on its own with the items it comes with also. This was definitely worth the cost to me and I would recommend it for anyone that does not use insulin that requires to be kept refrigerated/cold.
