Sehr gute Erfahrungen
Ich habe mittlerweile schon 4 Airthings View Plus Sensoren daheim und bin sehr zufrieden damit. Sie machen einen sehr solide verarbeiteten Eindruck und meiner Erfahrung nach erzeugen alle Sensoren sehr vergleichbare Messungen. Die Einrichtung war kinderleicht. Die Integration in ein Home Assistant Heimautomatisierungssystem funktioniert ebenfalls völlig problemlos. Besonders schön ist auch das e-paper basierende Display, welches man prima ablesen kann und zusätzlich sehr stromsparend arbeitet.In einem Fall hatte ich einen defekten Sensor. Keine Stunde später hat der sehr freundliche Support bereits geantwortet, ein paar Lösungsvorschläge gemacht und als klar war, dass es ein physischer Schaden war direkt die Zusendung eines Ersatzgerätes veranlasst.Ich bin sehr zufrieden und kann das System nur empfehlen.
Good to know when to open windows
I bought it for the CO2 reading, but then I found that I have Radon in the house. I can't deal with it properly, but we open the windows more often in the cold season since we bought this device. In the summer there is no need as window is always open (unless AC is running). I consider this a good purchase, expensive, but good to have in the house. In time, it doesn't matter the price of purchase when we consider the amount of bad air we avoided breathing in because we knew about it.Would be nice if it would also show the current time. Also it would be cool to have a little beep alarm when a reading we choose goes above a threshold.
Schön, aber sehr ungenau, langsam und zu teuer . nach 1 Jahr defekt
Airthings baut schöne Dekorationsobjekte.Als Messgerät ist es jedoch eine Enttäuschung. Ich habe zwei Geräte gekauft. Eines mit Fokus auf Radon (Radon View) für den Keller und eines für das Wohnzimmer mit CO2 (View plus). Die Geräte zeigen auch nach Wochen, selbst wenn sie direkt nebeneinander stehen, deutlich unterschiedliche Werte. Radon plus misst im gleichen Raum an höherer Position als Radon View um 100 ppa höhere Radonwerte. Das ist physikalisch nicht zu erwarten, da Radon schwere als Luft ist und daher das tiefere Gerät höhere Werte messen sollte. Wo das eine Gerät 40 misst, misst das andere eine deutliche Überschreitung des (amerikanischen) Grenzwertes von 100. Wobei die Unterschiede bei höheren Werten zunehmen. Der Grenzwert kann auch nicht (z.B. auf 300 für Deutschland) geändert werden. Man erhält also Hinweise auf falsche Überschreitungen. (Ein Alarm bei einer Überschreitung des Radongrenzwerts ist übrigens nur Panikmache - die Radonbelastung schwankt, daher gibt es nur Grenzen für Durchschnittswerte) Radon kann man auch nicht "schnell" messen, man kann nach Stunden jedoch eine Indikation erhalten.Richtig enttäuschend empfinde ich die ungenaue und langsame CO2-Messungen. Das ist keine Raketenwissenwchaft. Außenluft hat meist um die 400 ppm CO2. So tief kommen meine Geräte nicht runter. Simultanmessungen mit anderen Geräten zeigen, dass Airthings rund 4 Minuten langsamer als andere Geräte (5-6 Minuten) sind. Sie zeigen dabei meist auch (falsche) höhere Werte an. Für eine gezielte Wohnraumlüftung würde ich sie daher nicht einsetzen (wenn 6 Minuten offene Fenster im Winter reichen, dann machen 10 Minuten den Wohnraum nur kälter).Die Anzeige der Luftqualität ist ohne Konfigurationsmöglichkeit auch wenig sinnvoll. Im Sommer hat man mit Frischluft schnell Luftfeuchtigkeiten über 60%.... bei Airthings ist das "mittelmäßig". Ich hätte nach Airthings im Sommer meist die beste Luft im Keller...Ich habe die Geräte nicht zurückgeschickt, weil sie mir gefallen. Lieber korrigiere ich die Werte im Kopf, als dass ich mir ein hässliches Gerät mit besserer Technik in den Wohnraum stelle. Sobald ich jedoch eine optische Alternative finde, fliegen die Teile raus, da mich die Technik enttäuscht hat.Nach einem Jahr blieb der Bildschirm schwarz und das Gerät lies sich nicht neu beleben. Support kontaktiert. Ich warte auf Rückmeldung. Support hat nicht geantwortet. Amazon hat das Problem gelöst. 5 Sterne für Amazon

Schönes Gerät mit sehr guter App, aber träger Radonaktualisierung
Ich besitze mittlerweile 4 unterschiedliche Radonmessgeräte. 2 von dieser Firma (Airthings) 2 von der Konkurrenz.Alle Geräte laufen mittlerweile seit bis zu einem halben Jahr ohne Probleme - eine Langzeithaltbarkeit kann ich daher noch nicht bewerten.Von der Optik und Nutzbarkeit des Gerätes sowie auch der Darstellung sämtlicher Werte über die App, verdient dieses Gerät 5 Sterne.Einen Stern Abzug kostet es dem Gerät aber, weil es gegenüber der Konkurrenz ( eine weiße, größere Dose) deutlich träger - sprich starker Zeitverzögerung - auf Änderungen des Radongehaltes reagiert. Ich meine nicht ein paar Stunden, sondern Tage, bis sich deutlich zu hohe oder auch beruhigend niedrige Radonwerte am Gerät darstellen. Die Geräte der Konkurrenz reagieren zumindest binnen einer Stunde mit einer deutlichen Trandumkehr des Radongehaltes, wenn man z.B. lüftet. Und das ist für mich sehr wichtig.
Konkurrenzlose Kombination der Sensoren (v.a. CO2 statt CO wie Konkurrenz)
Ist zwar teuer, aber für mich gerade wegen des CO2-Sensors konkurrenzlos (andere haben nur CO Sensoren für Gas beim Kochen).Habe zwei seit 2023 im Einsatz (Wohnzimmer und Schlafzimmer).Zeigen mir, wie gut meine Luftreiniger arbeiten.Betreibe sie über USB-C, damit die Werte häufiger aktualisiert werden (statt im Batterie-Modus).Die Visualisierung in der App gefällt mir sehr gut, besser als die von günstigeren Konkurrenzprodukten (nicht sicher, ob namentliche Vergleiche erlaubt sind oder eine Veröffentlichung verhindern).Der Support ist auch sehr schnell, wenn es mal Softwarefehler in der App gibt.Schätze auch das Dashboard auf der Website, das einen Export der Daten einfach macht.
Clever, aber nicht billig – und manchmal ein bisschen langsam
Das Airthings 2960 View Plus ist wirklich ein cleveres Teil: Radon, Luftqualität, alles schön im Blick – man fühlt sich fast wie ein heimlicher Wissenschaftler im eigenen Wohnzimmer. 😄Kleine Abstriche: Der Preis ist schon ordentlich und Radonwerte werden nur stündlich aktualisiert, also keine Sofort-Alarm-Funktion, wenn die Strahlenparty gerade losgeht. Ansonsten funktioniert das Gerät super, zeigt Werte klar an und die App ist übersichtlich.Fazit: Wer auf Luftqualität achtet und ein bisschen Geduld hat, bekommt ein smartes Gerät, das seinen Job macht – nur die Geldbörse wird ein bisschen leichter.

This is a terrific product
I love this product. It was very easy to connect to wifi and to have the ability to track PM2.5,TVOC, radon, temperature and humidity all on one unit is very convenient. I bought a second unit to monitor the downstairs as well. As far as accuracy goes, it seems to track PM 2.5 closely to our outdoor conditions so I am happy. It is still too early to tell on radon but am doing a 3 month traditional test that will be completed later this spring so I will be able to compare. One benefit is that I can shut down air purifiers (saving filter life) when conditions dictate. Also, as CO2 or TVOC levels increase, I am able to start ventilating. Amazing to see the spikes in PM2.5 with cooking. Anyway, great device with excellent data stored for analysis. I love it.

i've used this for a few months. its very good and accurate enough for home use. kept in kitchen. display is good. batteries first installed 9 months ago and still going strong. app is also good and informative for current and historical readings. worth the cost.
Must have in every home
We have two of these, gives great insight into indoor air quality, amazing how quick co2 levels raise in our well sealed home. Nice app which graphs the historical results. Would highly recommend.
