If you’ve ever owned a WoodWick candle, you already know why you buy them.The design is beautiful, and the wooden wick gives a relaxing crackling sound — like having a tiny fireplace at home. It’s incredibly calming, especially if you live in an apartment without a real fireplace. Another big advantage is how cleanly it extinguishes: just place the lid on top, and the flame dies without releasing smoke into the room. No burnt-wax smell like with regular candles.The burn time is amazing. I light mine 1–2 times a week for a couple of hours, and the large size has lasted me four winter seasons.A small note: the scent strength can be intense in smaller rooms. In our 30 m² living room, my partner finds it a bit strong, while for me it’s just right — occasionally we crack a window open. Lavender & Cedar is a very pleasant, warm fragrance, even if the candle itself is on the pricier side. Still, WoodWick candles make excellent gifts.

Sehr hochwertige Duftkerze mit einem wirklich angenehmen und intensiven Duft. Besonders schön ist das leichte Knistern des Holzdochts beim Brennen, das eine sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre schafft – fast wie ein kleines Kaminfeuer.Die Kerze brennt gleichmäßig ab und der Duft verteilt sich gut im ganzen Raum, ohne zu aufdringlich zu sein. Außerdem riecht sie wirklich sehr gut und hält lange.Wenn sie im Angebot ist, stimmt auch der Preis absolut. Für mich gehören diese Kerzen definitiv zu den besten Duftkerzen auf dem Markt.

Der Holzdocht ist sauber eingesetzt und sorgt für ein gleichmäßiges Abbrennen.Praxistest:Ich habe die Kerze im Wohnbereich verwendet. Der Holzdocht knistert leise und erzeugt eine gemütliche, fast kaminartige Atmosphäre. Der Duft „Amethyst Sky“ ist angenehm, ausgewogen und nicht aufdringlich, verteilt sich aber gut im Raum. Ich war zuerst mehr als skeptisch so viel Geld für eine Kerze auszugeben. Aber ich habe es probiert und wurde vollends überzeugt.Die Kerze brennt sauber ab, rußt nicht und verbreitet dezent einen tollen Duft.Ich werde wieder Kerzen von WoodWick kaufen.5 Sterne!!!
Optisch und olfaktorisch überzeugend – mit handwerklichen Schwächen
Die Duftkerze überzeugt zunächst durch ihr ansprechendes Design sowie einen angenehmen und hochwertigen Duft. Auch das Brennverhalten wirkt auf den ersten Blick ruhig und stimmungsvoll.Leider zeigt sich im Gebrauch jedoch ein konstruktiver Mangel: Der Holzdocht ist nicht mittig, sondern leicht zum Rand versetzt platziert. Dadurch schmilzt das Wachs nicht gleichmäßig ab, was zu einer Tunnelbildung führt. Das beeinträchtigt sowohl die Brenndauer als auch die optimale Duftentfaltung.Zudem bleibt die Duftintensität eher im unmittelbaren Umkreis der Kerze und erfüllt den Raum nicht wie erwartet.Für einen Preis von über 20 € hätte ich eine bessere Verarbeitung und gleichmäßigere Performance erwartet. Insgesamt eine schöne Kerze mit Potenzial, jedoch mit klaren Verbesserungspunkten.

Was given a Woodwick candle as a gift some time ago and was so delighted with it that I had to buy another when it finished. If you put it in the hearth it gives the sound and impression of a fire and the smell is lovely. It also lasts a long time and is well worth buying

I received a tall cylinder shaped candle, not an oblong football shaped one. The football shaped ones have a long/wide wick which adds to the appeal. Very disappointed.
