    Pre-shampoo scalp scrubs seem to be the latest thing in haircare. This is certainly one of the more expensive ones, and it is a dual duty product as it usual the usual manual exfoliation with beads (peach seeds according to the packaging) along with glycolic acid for chemical exfoliation.It smells very nice, and has a thick consistency so it's easy to apply it without it dripping everywhere, which is good as you need to leave it on for a minute or two to let the glycolic acid do its work.The trouble is the exfoliating beads are unusually big, and I found they got stuck in my hair. Along with the thickness of it, it meant it needed a lot of rinsing before I could shampoo it.It did work well - my scalp felt clean and clear and my hair was left nicely conditioned, soft and shiny - but it really is expensive and a bit of a pain to rinse out.I guess it would last a fair amount of time as you get a fair amount and it goes a long way, so if you need this sort of product, it's probably worth the investment.
