Thick band
I’ve been wearing false lashes for about 3 years. I’ve tried all sorts of brands and types, but Ardell has always been one I know I can count on. This was the first time I’d seen or heard of Ardell Winks. I ordered the Bossy lashes. These ones weren’t my favorite. They looked like something I would like in the product page pictures, but if I would have seen them in person I wouldn’t have purchased them. The lashes do look natural and I think they would look good on most people. I just don’t care for them because there is very little curl to them. This is a personal preference though, I know there’s tons of people that don’t like a lot of curl to their lashes. Also, the band is really thick/bulky. Since they are Ardell, I was surprised the band was as thick as it is. I always cut my strips into clusters. The entire band is filled with lashes, there isn’t a gap anywhere on the band where I could cut. So I was worried I’d make a bunch of the lashes fall out as I cut. That really wasn’t a problem though! Only a couple would fall out each time I cut.The reasons I don’t care for these lashes are just personal preference. Just because I don’t really care for them doesn’t mean that you won’t like them! I know these lashes would look good on nearly anyone!
Great Everyday Lash
I am a big fan of false lashes, but I don't like them to look too dramatic on my eye and these were a great option for me. The only con was that it was a pain to peel the lashes off of the plastic tray they come in which is why I removed one star - I almost ripped them in half so be careful! Once I very carefully got them off, I added a little lash glue and let them dry for 45 seconds before applying them to the eye. The lash length is subtle but makes your lashes look fuller and is exactly what I like to go for. If you like big dramatic lashes, these aren't the pair for you - but for a subtle look, these are a fantastic option.
Look Beautiful but one side had wonky ends that had to be fixed
Ardell lashes are my go-to when I am going out or have a big event. Specifically, the demi wispies as I feel like they look more natural and fit my eyes well. The flirty winks are fuller but they do look great and wear fine once I cut them to fit my lashes. The pair I received had wonky ends on one of the lashes which needed to be combed and curled to lay correctly so it did not receive a perfect score where normally I would rate Ardell products. They are super cute and are full and flirty without being too over the top which I love.
Nice Lashes
I ordered these lashes with another set. These lashes seem to be more my style for daily wear as I don't like the overly thick style for everyday. I have not worn them yet as they did not come with eyelash glue, but other than that complaint, they seem like ones I will enjoy wearing. If I find any concerns with them after wearing them I will update my review.
Nice and easy to use!
These lashes are easy to use and great for effortlessly stunning lashes. The bold, black design adds a touch of glamour without looking too artificial or too "much". It was nice to not have to use liner with these. The quality is good – lightweight, comfortable, and easy to apply. These lashes strike the perfect balance between dramatic and natural, making them versatile for various occasions. The Ardell brand never disappoints, and I love the confidence boost they give to my overall appearance! My only complaint is that I wish they came in a large value pack.
