Die Zange ist bei Lieferung an den Metallteilen noch ziemlich ölig,- vor Gebrauch ist Putzen sinnvoll.Gekauft habe ich sie um Plastikteile für den Modellbau aus den Spritzlingen zu trennen da sie sehr gerade zu schneiden scheint. Und da sie ja für Kleinstarbeiten beworben wird, dachte ich das es die richtige Wahl sein könnte.Ein erster Test brachte drei, teils zu erwartende, Dinge ans Licht.Durch die Schneidengeometrie ist der Kraftaufwand deutlich höher als bei anderen Seitenschneidern aus dem Elektronik- oder Modellbaubereich. Dafür bleibt wenig Material am Schnitt stehen und man muß weniger nacharbeiten. Der Verschlussbügel ist beim Arbeiten etwas störend. Die Schneiden sind insgesamt etwas klobig, womit die beworbenen Kleinstarbeiten schlicht nicht möglich sind.Fazit: In Anbetracht des günstigen Preises liegt die Zange gut in der Hand, ist aber für Feinarbeiten ungeeignet. Da kann ich auf diverse Vergleiche mit Seitenschneidern von Knipex, Faller, U-Star u.ä. zurückgreifen. Klar kosten die mehr, aber wenn ich die Kohlen in ne Knipex investier hab ich eben auch "Mercedes" in der Hand.Für mittelfeine Arbeiten mit geringen Kräften kann man das Teil hernehmen, die Abisofunktion hab ich nicht getestet, weil ich dafür einfach besseres Gerät habe und es mir um die Schneidetätigkeit ging.Preis- Leistung würde ich als anständig bezeichnen, aber eben nicht im angepriesenen Kleinstbereich.Und das man mit der Preisklasse keine Pianodrähte schneiden kann, sollte jedem klar sein. Kohlenstoffstahl ist ein dehnbarer Begriff, das sagt mal bestens was darüber aus, das man das Material relativ gut härten kann. Härte allein ist aber auch nicht alles,- diesen Aspekt kann ich jetzt so erstmal nicht prüfen. Bleibt dabei: Nettes Teil, aber kein Überflieger

Excellent Little Side Cutters for Stranded Wire
