beautiful, but it does not fully cover the keys

    5/5 · Amazon Kunde

The design and sound are both beautiful and perfect. However, because the piano lid is straight rather than L-shaped, it does not fully cover the keys, leaving them slightly visible, which is a bit disappointing.

Ich würde es sofort wieder kaufen

    5/5 · Matthias

    In Ordnung

    4/5 · Hanns Stamer

Nice looking digital piano that broke after less than 2 months

    1/5 · Paul K.

When I got this piano it was very nice: fully weighted keyboard, loud speakers, nice design (although there are some big flaws I mention later). But the issues started less than 2 months later when the piano out of nowhere broke and stopped turning on, leaving me in limbo between Amazon and Donner (finally managed to return it but waiting for refund).THE GOOD: the keyboard is fantastic, simply. I really liked playing on it. Also the pedals were color matched to the main "body" so everything looked nice and visually appealing. It was very loud so I never got higher than 50% of the volume (didn't need to) and the sound was nice and crisp. There is auto-turn off after 30 minutes so I could turn it on, play, then leave. A nice thing was the semi-open keyboard cover protecting the keyboard from dust and cat hair.THE BAD: the piano was ergonomically stupid when it came to the back panel where cables and power button. Those were invisible and hard to reach. The semi-open keyboard cover protected from dust but not really since it was fully open from the front (weird design decision I don't really get). I noticed some vernier blemishes here and there somewhat cheapning the experience. Also by the end of the piano's life I've noticed that keyboard dynamics were sometimes off: playing soft either wasn't recognized or was super loud), same with the pedal that sometimes was behaving weirdly.THE TERRIBLE: The piano broke after less than 2 months — the power button was not working anymore, power LED was blinking once then turning off entirely; no sound, nothing. Trying to get technical support was impossible: there is no troubleshooting page, not documentation, NOTHING. Plus Amazon sends to Donner, Donner sends back to Amazon. When I pressed Donner to provide guarantee claim support, they sent some random forms and instructions to check power cable or (!) try another cable (which is not allowed in the product manual). Finally managed to get return via Amazon and waiting for refund.SUMMARY: I really liked that piano while it worked but due to non-existing technical support and general dismissive attitude from Donner I can't recommend it to anybody. It's a pity because it's a beautiful design, high-quality finish, and general experience was nice before it broke. It's just "the logistics" that disqualify it as a serious musical instrument, at a pretty hefty price that you could almost get one of the high-quality and well regarded competition for if you add a couple hundred EUR.

Ist wie ein vollwertiges Klavier. Klang ist klasse. Tastengefühl nahezu identisch zum Klavier

    Pretty darn good!

    5/5 · some guy

Pleasantly surprised! First off, I’m a hobbyist - piano isn’t my main instrument, but I’ve played off and on for ~20 years…so you can take my review or leave it. Basically, I moved and was going to get another acoustic piano, but decided to try this one. I think it’s pretty suitable as a near-replacement for acoustic.- Weight/feel: pretty darn good! The keys feel a heck of a lot better than the spinet piano I used to have. If anything, the weight is on the heavier side overall. Bass keys are weighted heavier and treble keys are lighter, just like on an acoustic piano. Overall, the feel is great and I’m super satisfied in this area.- Sensitivity: Good! You can really get a lot of dynamic range depending on how hard you press a key. I’ve been mostly playing ragtime and boogie woogie but a little softer stuff as well, and it’s satisfactory across the board, at least for me.- Sound/sample: Not bad - it sounds pretty okay for the most part. For some reason I find the half-octave or so above middle C to sound a little more artificial than the rest of the piano, but overall it’s not bad. It may be the speakers rather than the sample, I don’t know. But you know what? It’s a $500 digital piano. It doesn’t sound like a $1,500 digital piano and you shouldn’t expect it to. But it’s really not bad.- Effects: Nope, that’s not this piano’s bag. It just sounds like a piano. If you’re into that and are thinking about this as an alternative to an acoustic piano, then you’ll probably like this one. But you could always use it as a midi controller with a DAW if you want more sounds.- Look: Yeah, I know it’s been said, but I think they should get points for making it something other than a black rectangle. It really does look nice, but whether that matters to you is your thing. If it looked nice but played and sounded like trash, then looking nice wouldn’t matter to me - it would still be trash. Fortunately, this is a digital piano that feels great and sounds pretty good, and looking cool is just icing on the cake.- Durability: ?? I’ve only had mine for a few weeks at the time of this review. If it stops working at some point I’ll update this review. So, there it is. I think it’s pretty darn good for the price and I would genuinely recommend it. I pinky swear that I’m not a bot and I paid for this piano myself, I am not a figment of your imagination, this review is not a paid advertisement, this review is not brought to you in four parts without commercial interruptions, the revolution will not be televised, will not be televised, will not be televised.

    Muy bonito

Th e goods arrived nearly 4 weeks ahead of the scheduled date. A pleasant surprise.

    5/5 · Nimal J Perera

The piano is as described, and the piano players who are students are very satisfied with it.

    Well packaged, excellent quality

    5/5 · SineadMc

I have been looking for a realistic-like digital piano for some time. This one sounds and feels like my upright and is so much nicer than I expected! It is very well made and a lot sturdier than the pictures let on. I was half expecting the pedals to be plastic like and easily flung around - but even the pedals have some weight to them! The piano itself is a decent weight too - not to mention waaaaayyyyy nicer looking than most of the options out there. From the moment it arrived I was impressed. You can tell the manufacturer actually cares about their product based on the way it was prepared for shipping (see pictures). I was hesitant to buy at first based on other reviews (namely the ones that said half the keys don’t work). I’m so glad I went for it! All my keys work thankfully, it sounds and feels great and looks even better! For the money - you just can’t beat it!

    Great value, great sound.

    5/5 · Microphone User 123

Great piano, solid weighted keys, feels like playing a real piano. Great price for what you get, better than plastic keys keyboard. You can also plug this to your PC and it will work perfectly, no additional mixer is needed. 10/10
