Etwas wuchtig, halten aber jedem Winter stand
Ich habe die Columbia Herren Bugaboot III Schneestiefel in den letzten Monaten bei verschiedenen Winterwanderungen und Spaziergängen getragen und möchte meine Eindrücke teilen. Die Stiefel sind insgesamt solide verarbeitet und bieten eine gute Wärmeisolierung, was sie bei kaltem Wetter zuverlässig macht. Besonders positiv finde ich die robuste Außensohle, die auf Schnee und Eis guten Halt bietet, was für winterliche Verhältnisse sehr wichtig ist.Allerdings gibt es auch einige Punkte, die weniger überzeugend sind. Die Passform fällt etwas enger aus, was bei längeren Tragezeiten unangenehm werden kann, insbesondere wenn man dicke Socken trägt. Außerdem sind die Stiefel im Vergleich zu anderen Modellen etwas schwerer, was das Laufen auf längeren Strecken etwas anstrengender macht. Das An- und Ausziehen gestaltet sich durch den etwas schmalen Schaft manchmal etwas mühsam.Das Design ist zweckmäßig und eher schlicht, was mir persönlich gut gefällt, auch wenn es vielleicht nicht jedermanns Geschmack trifft. Insgesamt sind die Boots eine zuverlässige Wahl für den Wintereinsatz, die ihren Zweck erfüllt, aber vielleicht nicht die beste Wahl für jemanden ist, der viel Wert auf besonders leichtes Gewicht oder eine sehr bequeme Passform legt.

I tested the Columbia Bugaboot III during a full week of walking around Tromsø and other Nordic locations in deep winter, and they performed impressively well overall.Positives• Very warm and comfortable: Even after long days outside, my feet stayed comfortable without any pressure points.• Sizing tip: I went one size up from my usual sneaker size to make room for thick socks, and that worked perfectly.• Excellent insulation in deep snow: My feet stayed warm even when trudging through more than a foot of accumulated snow. (I wore waterproof pants that fit snugly over the boot, which helped keep snow and water from entering from the top.)• Good grip on fresh snow: The traction is noticeably better than regular sneakers on snowy paths.• Great when paired with crampons: On ice, these boots alone aren’t enough, but with crampons they become a reliable setup for all icy, snowy, and slushy surfaces.Negatives• Moisture buildup over long use: If you keep the boots on for many hours, sweat can accumulate inside because it doesn’t wick out easily. Warm, bequem und robust – man sollte nur daran denken, sie gut zu trocknen und im Zweifel eine Nummer größer zu wählen.

Super Schuh wasserdichtIst aber ein bisschen gross geschnitten, aber mit zwei paar Socken gehts
Hält was er verspricht
Nachdem es nun doch noch Winter mit Schnee und Regen geworden ist konnte ich den Schuh nutzen. War mit dem Schuh bei Regen und Schnee unterwegs. Hat meine Füße warm und trocken gehalten. Nichts zu bemängeln.
Sehr guter Winterbegleiter
Haben sich im Winter sehr bewährt. Schuhgröße hat auf Anhieb gepasst, Stiefel sind sehr robust, aber nicht zu schwer und kommen mit gutem Grip durchs Gelände. Daumen hoch!

Warm, aber nicht wasserdicht
Der Stiefel ist bei trockenem kalten Wetter absolut spitze und wärmt wirklich klasse, selbst bei stundenlangen Ansitz auf der Kanzel. Heute allerdings stand ich mehrere Stunden in naßkalten regnerischen Wetter draußen und es dauerte nicht lange bis ich klatschnasse Socken hatte.Was nützt es, wenn die Schale und die Nähte wasserdicht sind, nicht aber die komplette Zunge von den Zehen bis oben hin.... da regnete es nach ein relativ kurzer Zeit einfach durch.Fazit: bei trockenem Wetter hui, bei nassem Wetter pfui.

Très robustes, très chaudes et confortables!Je ne les recommanderais pas pour autant comme chaussure à enfiler pour aller chercher le courrier (ce ne sont pas des chaussons), mais en randonnée elles donnent un sentiment de sécurité et d’invulnérabilité très rassurant!
Size problems
Never the right size. And every time you return and order a new one they send you even a worse size and It’s not just the size that’s an issue; even when the size fits, the shoes can feel tight in certain areas. then you return and then they send you a pair that is 100% from the already returned/defective item. A very bad experience.
Solid Pair of Snow Boots
bought two pairs and one pair came without a box or tags. quality is great. the boots are lightweight, have excellent cushioning, and well designed. not the greatest looking thing, but it does the job. warm enough in most conditions, even at -30 deg celsius. my feet felt a bit cold when i had ice/snow underfoot for a full day - with just 1 layer of ski socks. size up by 1 as the insulation is quite substantial.
Columbia Bugaboot III
I ordered these Columbia Bugaboot III's as my primary winter boot here in Canada. So far I have been extremely impressed with the quality and feel of the boots. The laces are nice and the boots are a great height up the leg so that snow should not get inside (I've worn these with ski/snowboard pants that have an elastic boot covering and I've had no issues getting it over the boot, as they are almost as big as traditional snowboard boots). The grips on the boots are fantastic but I have not tested them out on icy surfaces as of yet. Sound super grippy inside on the floor inside my house. Find it easy to get snow removed from bottom grips when entering the home. As per reading the reviews of this boot, I ordered a half size larger than I normally would wear. The sizing chart says it's only 1/10 inch larger than the normal size so did not see much gained room in the toe. Fit snug but have caused no issues with comfortability. I'd refer to the sizing chart, you may need to go a whole size up or more depending on how thick of socks you intend to wear inside the boot/how much wiggle room you want for your toes. To be honest so far this is my favorite winter boot I've ever had in my life. Hopefully they hold up to the test of time and last multiple seasons. Depending on my budget this year I may pick up a second identical pair; as with any water proof boot if you get sweaty feet you may have to dry them out and they take some time unless you have a boot dryer.
