Guter Winterschuh, leicht und dicht
Der Schuh hat mir bei unserer Reise nach Island im März 2026 sehr gute Dienste geleistet- wasserdicht, leicht und die Füße blieben warm. Leider habe ich mir die Schuhe ruiniert, weil sich die Krampen zum sicheren Gehen auf Eis und Schnee verdreht hatten. Einige Zacken hatten dabei die Sohle leicht durchbohrt, weshalb man beim Laufen durch Pfützen klamme Füße bekam. Das war aber meine Schuld und nicht die des Herstellers. Ich würde sie auch wegen des guten Preises wieder kaufen aber beim nächsten Mal mit den Krampen besser aufpassen!

Ich war mit den Schuhen im Winterurlaub wandern…was soll ich sagen? Einfach nur klasse 👍🏻 extrem bequem und halten super warm. Ich stand bis zur Hüfte im Schnee und hatte trotzdem den ganzen Tag über warme und trockene Füße. Selbst als mir Schnee oben in die Schuhe gefallen war, konnte ich diesen entfernen und meine Füße wurden nach einigen Minuten wieder trocken und warm.
It does not compare with the pair i have from 6 years ago
Th shoes look good, but their chemical smell is really bad. They are much to narrow in the front part of the foot. The blood circulation is restricted heavily, therefore I had to return them.I have a pair of Fairbanks from 6 years ago, made in China, and that pair is really amazingly comfortable and keeps me very warm and dry. It is like they are form a different brand.Be careful Columbia and pay attention to reviews! In the last years i had to return more pair of shoes from you. Your products are starting to feel less premium. The comfort and quality seems to be in a constant decline.

Great quality but they are very thin boots
Great boots but they run THIN!Took them hiking and they kept me warm (with a double layer of socks) and great water resistance.BUT anyone with wide feet be cautious because after 5k steps they start to really hurt. These things are for slim feet and do not give whatsoever.I bought a size bigger than my standard size so if you can’t get wider type boots and have to get these then get get a way larger size.
True to size, warm, comfortable, grippy
I adore these shoes - living in a ski resort, I needed something that was grippy in snow and warm - These tick both boxes!Pretty lightweight, as opposed to heavy hiking shoes you might expect - they're comfortable like trainers with a high-top. Warmth wise, excellent - if anything a little *too* warm once you've walked to the pub (I run pretty hot anyway...not like my feet are sweating, but can feel them very warm).Walked through snow at -7c and they're still comfortably warm enough and totally waterproof so far.If you're buying these as serious off-trail hiking boots, I'd probably suggest something more hard wearing and stable, as the soles of these are very flexible. But for what I want them for - the urban snow hiker, they're absolutely perfect!
