    I loved that this instantly gave my lips a bit more volume , obviously not like Botox but that isn’t the look I was going for . The color is gorgeous , it is a bit tingly at first somewhat similar to feeling a hot pepper touching your lips but that doesn’t last too long and worth the price of beauty 😂

    While I will say this lip gloss has a decent pigment, unless you have a high threshold for pain tolerance, do NOT buy this lip gloss!!! Though I am somewhat sensitive to irritants, this gloss is off the charts painful. I would describe it as having eaten a mouthful of jalapeno peppers chased down by wasabi. And though you apply it to your lips on the outside, you can feel it inside your mouth. Avoid!!!

    There wasn't anything positive about my experience with this product. I ordered Bubblegum Bae colour and instead of a bright pink, it is a dull mauve-y colour like the bubblegum went bad. The high-pigmentation means there's very little forgiveness for going outside your lip lines, which is very inconvenient as the applicator picks up way too much product with a single dip and swipe. Scraping the excess on the edge of the container still leaves too much product on the doe-foot and makes a big mess. It's just too big and absorbent of a doe-foot to be practical for this formulation. A single dip would likely last for five or six full sets of lips, if not more. It's just way too much and the texture makes it difficult to control and apply lightly because of how thick and sticky it is. It also doesn't mix well with other products because of the texture and extreme pigmentation. So If you get it and don't like the colour because it's not what's pictured, you can't even mix or layer it with other colours to make something you would like. It is not a good or well functioning cosmetic.I had been excited to try this because I absolutely love ginger. I had thought that there would be somewhat of a ginger flavouring to this product based upon their use of it for the plumping effect. Even without the ginger flavouring, I wanted to like this product because it had ginger in it. I just couldn't, especially because it's pretty gross tasting - like chemicals. I did get a "stinging" feeling, but absolutely no plumping effect at all. My lips stayed their same size even until after the burning sensation went away. It is not a functional lip plumper.The next morning after I had used it, I woke up with minor cracking and peeling of my lips. That is a very rare occurrence for me and the only change had been me trying this product the day before. It is not a safe product.The only thing I can think of to use this product for is when I'm craving the burn of ginger on my lips without the flavour (which I don't know ever happens or would be worth the cracking lips the next day). I think NYX was just trying to jump on the oversized doe-foot trend without considering if it was actually a good fit for this product or if this product was a good fit for their customers.
