These really do feel like a quality pair of sunglasses.I actually bought them for myself, cycling, as based on the measurements, they would fit--and they do! Now, admittedly, I have a *slightly* smaller than average (women's) head, but in general, kid's sunglasses do not fit me. These were, if anything, a little too large. I'm sure they'd be great for most older teens though.The packaging is excellent, and give these glasses a premium feel before you've even opened it, so to get these as a gift for a sporty teen would be ideal. Inside is a really nice quality semi-rigid zipped case, along with the sunglasses and a cleaning cloth.Again, straight out of the box, the sunglasses feel nice quality. They're wrapped with care, and when taken out, they have safety standard stickers and labels, which is very reassuring. I chose the Black Frame/Grey Lens, and the lens is really quite dark, and would make even the brightest day very comfortable.The frame also has a several really nice features. The ear-rests are actually sprung, using a small piece of silicon and a cut-out. It's a really ingenious design, and I've never seen it before. I can imagine it actually helping, rather than being a gimmick. The nose rest too is well designed. It's a single piece of flexible metal with shaped silicon cover that encloses it completely. The nose-piece is then attached at the centre-point, meaning that the rest can be shaped as well as bent forward or backward, to suit the nose and bring the glasses close to the face. Really nice idea.I'm a big fan of wrap-around glasses as a cyclist, having spent way too long at the side of the road trying to fish some bug or other out of the corner of my eye! And if it's not that, it's some other mote of dust, tiny speck of plant, or seed that's lodged in there at 40mph...on one occasion, hot ash from a passing motorist! Child or adult, you only get the one set of eyes, so they're worth investing in protecting them. Wrap-round glasses really do give a lot more protection, particularly if it's windy.This pair do seem to have gone the extra mile to try to create a good pair of sun/sport glasses, and you can see it in every feature. For the price, well worth a punt.
