    Top Headstrap 👍🏻

    Das hier ist mein erstes Headstrap und somit habe ich keinen anderen Vergleich als zum orginalen Headstrap von Meta was bei der Quest beiliegt.Zuerst einmal möchte ich dazu sagen, das die Verarbeitung des Kiwi Headstrap wirklich gut und hochwertig ist.Die Montage ist wirklich kinderleicht, ich als handwerklich unbegabter, konnte das alte Headstrap innerhalb von ein paar Minuten wechseln.Das Kiwi Headstrap lässt sich sehr einfach auf den Kopf setzen, es passt immer direkt und muss mit den gut zu erreichenden Kopffixierer nur festgezogen werden, was alles zusammen nicht länger als ein paar Sekunden benötigt.Da man das Headstrap von hinten bis zur hälfte nach oben klappen kann, muss man als Brillenträger sich nicht mehr in die Brille zwängen und den Abstand justieren, man kann direkt exakt und einfach in die Brille schlüpfen.Die Kopfstütze und das Kopfband sind sehr bequem und mit dem Orginal nicht vergleichbar, der Komfort des Kiwi Headstrap ist dagegen fantastisch, weich und sehr angenehm, sich den Kopf anpassend.Das Gewicht des Akkus und Headstrap spürt man schon leicht am Hinterkopf, aber nicht ansatzweise so stark wie mit dem orginalen Headstrap an Vorder und Rückseite. Durch die Form wird das Gewicht von vorne zusätzlich nach hinten verlagert und es fühlt sich allgemein viel leichter und besser an als mit dem Orginal von Meta, der Kopf wird viel weniger belastet und alles ist viel angenehmer und bequemer. Dadurch gibt es auch keine bis wenige Druckstellen im Gesicht, auch nach längeren Spielzeiten.Der Akku ist fest verbaut, hält bei mir +2 Std, lädt sich in einer normalen Geschwindigkeit auf, durch Lichter am Batteriestrap wird der Akkustand abgelesen und durch einen Anschluss unten aufgeladen.Mein Fazit ist, das jeder seinen Komfort, seinen Spielspaß und Spielzeit mit diesem Headstrap von Kiwi viel verbessert.Ein 100% Kaufempfehlung für jeden Qurst 3 Besitzer.Zudem ist das Preisleistungsverhältnis wirklich gut.Ich bin vollkommen zufrieden mit dem Produkt.

    Ein notwendiges Upgrade!

    Wer die Meta Quest 3 im Standard-Bundle gekauft hat, wird früher oder später merken, dass die Kopfbefestigung (Strap oder Headband) nicht gerade optimal auf lange Dauer ist.So in meinem Fall. Ich wusste im Vorhinein schon, dass ich ein zweites brauchen werde. Nur welches? Das Original Elite-Band kostet satte 150€ mit Akku, dann gibt es natürlich andere Anbieter, aber nimmt man jetzt ein Halo oder Elite System.Das Halo System ist mMn am bequemsten, da es nicht auf das Gesicht drückt und man damit stundenlang in der virtuellen Realität verbringen kann. Gibt es auch immer wieder mal günstig von Kiwi zu haben. (ca.75€ momentan)Ich habe mich aber für das Elite System (wie hier dem K4 Boost für ca. 80€) von Kiwi entschieden. Es ist mehr für aktive Bewegungen geeignet, da es besser fixiert ist.Das Kiwi Headband lässt sich in kürzester Zeit montieren.Es hat sogar das gleiche PU-Leder am Hinterkopf, genau wie mein AMVR Gesichtspolster, wie am Foto zu sehen ist (welchen ich auch nur wärmstens empfehlen kann). Der drückt überhaupt nicht und man hat somit rundum eine weiche Polsterung, die man auch schnell säubern kann mit einem feuchten Tuch.An der linken Seite wird das Kabel für den Akku angesteckt und hinten gibt es eine Buchse zum Aufladen. Man kann mit dem Original 18W Netzteil die Brille und den Zusatzakku aufladen, dauert halt 4+ Stunden. Oder man verwendet ein 45W (min.) Netzteil und es geht gleich schnell wie sonst das Original NT für die Quest 3 allein brauchen würde.Ich würde immer empfehlen, das Akku Kabel abzustecken nachdem man die Brille wegräumt, um etwaiges entladen zu vermeiden.Mit dem Verstellrad hinten, lässt sich die Größe sehr schnell einstellen. Super zum verstauen in einer Tasche. Ansonsten hat es oben wie das Original einen Klettverschluss.Akkulaufzeit ist damit mehr als doppelt so hoch, und fast schon ein notwendiges Upgrade, für jeden der die Brille vorwiegend Standalone verwendet. Also ohne PC.Ich kann das Ding nur empfehlen, es fühlt sich hochwertig an, passt optisch und farblich genau zur Brille und es lässt sich stundenlang tragen.Was man aber bedenken sollte, zum Liegen ist es nur semi empfohlen, das es natürlich hinten mit dem Aufbau drückt. Aber dafür hat man ja den Standard-Strap, damit er nicht ganz obsolet wird.

    Balanced Comfort Strap with Built-in Battery

    The K4 Boost Comfort Battery Head Strap is a great add-on for my Quest 3S. It makes the headset feel much more comfortable, with the balanced design taking a lot of the weight of the headset away from your face.The built-in battery extends the headset play time by around 2.5 hours. When connected, the strap battery is used first before the headset battery, which is a sensible way for it to operate.Installation is very simple and only takes about 30 seconds. Charging time is also quite fast, roughly the same as charging the headset itself. A handy bonus is that the strap can remain plugged into the headset all the time, and charging the strap will charge both the strap and the headset together.If you want a more comfortable headset with roughly double the run time, this is a very worthwhile upgrade.

    Better than Halo strap

    For me this perfect balance between comfort and stability. I like the Quest 3 original strap for stability, I can move my head around in fast games and keep a sharp sweeet spot, it does not move. But it’s awfully uncomfortable after 10 minutes. I tried a Kiwi Design H4 Halo strap, and while it’s very comfortable and fixes that issue, it introduces a new one for me as it’s so vobbly! In faster games I quickly lose my sharpness sweet spot (I use prescription inserts) because it moves around so much and it just does not feel like I get the ultimate picture quality. I am also aftraid to move my head around and that does not feel natural.Well I am glad to say this K4 Boost with battery solves both issues and is the perfect balance between comfort and stability! It’s way more comfortable than the original strap, but without sacrificing the stability! So feels much more natural than a Halo for me. Don’t belive all those ”Halo is better!” on the internet. Maybe if you are a youtuber and use it more than 8h a day, but if you are a regular user and want to get a one or two hours of gameplay after work, this is just perfect!Also battery is perfect, not a problem I can’t change them like in Bobo variants. It gives double amount of battery time and that’s plenty for me, I would never play VR more than 2 hours anyway without a break. And then you can fast charge it if you want, I have not tried fast charging but should work pretty quickly.

    This is must to have product for metquest 3. Not worried about the battery backup now. I bought one pouch also from Amazon (grey colour one) , and the good lart is, with this head strap, I was able to get it inside that pouch (not that easy though). Kiwi can think of a pouch as well which suits the stap easily.
