Ich liebe diese Levi’s-Shorts! ❤️ Die Passform ist einfach super, sie sitzt richtig gut und hat genau den klassischen 501-Look, den ich gesucht habe. Die Qualität ist, wie man es von Levi’s kennt, wirklich top und der Stoff fühlt sich hochwertig an.Ich habe mir bereits 2024 zwei Shorts in anderen Farben gekauft und trage sie seitdem sehr gerne. Deshalb habe ich jetzt noch eine weitere Farbe bestellt.Ein kleiner Tipp: Ich schaue immer bei den Prime Days oder anderen Aktionen vorbei, weil die Shorts dann oft deutlich günstiger zu haben sind als zum regulären Preis. So lohnt sich der Kauf meiner Meinung nach noch mehr.Für mich sind das die perfekten Jeans-Shorts – tolle Qualität, bequeme Passform und zeitloses Design. Ich werde beim nächsten Prime Day schauen welche Farben es gibt und mir dann vielleicht noch eine holen.

Klassischer 501-Look in Shortsform – hochwertig, aber passformabhängig
Ich habe mir die Levi’s 501 Original Denim Shorts für den Sommerurlaub gekauft, weil ich schon seit Jahren ein Fan der 501-Jeans bin und den zeitlosen Schnitt liebe. Das Material ist, wie gewohnt bei Levi’s, aus 100 % Baumwolle und angenehm robust, ohne zu steif zu wirken. Der Stoff hat eine mittlere Dicke, sodass er nicht durchsichtig ist, aber trotzdem sommerlich leicht bleibt.Der Schnitt ist high-waist und endet bei mir (1,65 m) knapp oberhalb der Mitte des Oberschenkels. Die Passform ist typisch 501: eher gerade, nicht zu eng anliegend, was für eine lässige Silhouette sorgt. Die Knopfleiste anstelle eines Reißverschlusses wirkt authentisch und ist sauber verarbeitet. Die Farbe „Light Stonewash“ entspricht exakt den Bildern, kein unnatürliches Ausbleichen nach der ersten Wäsche.Im Alltag sind die Shorts bequem, auch bei längeren Spaziergängen kein Scheuern an den Innenseiten der Oberschenkel. Nach mehrmaligem Waschen hat sich weder die Form noch die Farbe verändert. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Sie fallen etwas kleiner aus, sodass ich eine Größe größer bestellen musste als sonst bei Levi’s.Vorteile:Zeitloses Design im klassischen 501-StilHochwertiger Denim, langlebig und formstabilAuthentische Details wie KnopfleisteNachteile:Fällt etwas kleiner ausPreis im oberen SegmentFazit:Für alle, die den ikonischen 501-Look schätzen und eine langlebige, stilvolle Shorts suchen, ist dieses Modell eine lohnende Investition. Bin echt mal zufriedenEndlich mal eine Short die nicht zu eng sitzt und die Problemzonen oben an den Innenschenkeln versteckt. Also nicht zu kurzKlar ist sie nicht günstig, aber andere für 30 Euro sind schlechter. Da zahlt sich die Marke Levis eben aus..Sehr zu empfehlen.

Great quality denim shorts, but the best size may differ from your usual Levi's jeans size
I usually wear W28 in Levi's 501 Original and 501 Cropped jeans, so I initially ordered these shorts in W28. This is the size I would normally choose in Levi's denim, and it fits me well in jeans. However, I found that shorts fit slightly differently from jeans, mainly because of the shorter length and where the waistband sits, and the W28 did not feel quite as comfortable as my jeans do.I ordered W27, W29 and W30 as comparisons and found that W29 was the best fit for me. Interestingly, the W29 does not look visibly larger than the W28 when worn, but it feels slightly more comfortable around the waist. The W30 was clearly too generous at the waist, although it could work well for someone who prefers a looser, more relaxed fit.For reference, I am slightly pear shaped, with a waist measurement of around 72–74 cm and hips of 98 cm. Both the W28 and W29 fit well without any gaping at the waist, which is something I often look for in denim shorts. I can also fit into the W27, but the shorter rise/fit means that I do not get enough coverage at the back.The Broken Midnight wash is lovely: a classic medium blue denim with subtle whiskering. It is a very versatile colour that can easily be dressed up or down. I think these would be particularly good for summer holidays, beach days and casual activities where a shorter style of shorts works well.The denim is typical Levi's quality, quite substantial due to the 99% cotton composition. Although the fabric is not lightweight, I personally like the structure and durability of this type of denim. The shorts also contain 1% elastane, although I did not find them quite as flexible or comfortable as my Levi's jeans.Overall, these are excellent quality denim shorts, but I would recommend trying different sizes if you are between sizes or if you find that your preferred jeans size does not give the same comfort in a shorts style.
