You will get the generational leap in performance that you would expect and pay for. If you wish you could save costs in PSU, motherboard, and possibly RAM because of the perks of this CPU. The only other AM5 CPUs you should consider are the 16+ cores units (if you actually need them for your work flow), and the 8000G-series for builds without discrete GPUs. Besonders bei CPU-lastigen Titeln oder im kompetitiven Gaming merkt man einen deutlichen Sprung nach vorne. Mit 5.2 GHz taktet er zudem ordentlich hoch. Beeindruckend ist dabei die Effizienz: Die Leistung pro Watt ist hervorragend, was die CPU auch kühler und leiser im Betrieb hält als viele Konkurrenzprodukte.Installation: Die Montage auf dem AM5-Sockel war gewohnt einfach. Da es sich um die Box-Version handelt, kommt alles sicher verpackt an. Was AMD hier mit dem umgedrehten Cache-Design gemacht hat, ist genial. Mein alter 7800X3D wurde unter Last schnell warm, weil der Cache die Kerne isoliert hat. Der 9800X3D bleibt mit meiner 360er AIO deutlich kühler und hält den Takt stabil bei 5.2 GHz, teilweise sogar mehr. Endlich kann man einen X3D-Prozessor auch vernünftig kühlen und sogar leicht übertakten. Für reines Gaming gibt es aktuell nichts Schnelleres, und auch leichte Videobearbeitung klappt jetzt besser.

Andere Rezensionen vor mir sind sicher schon tief in die Materie eingetaucht, daher von mir wenig Technik-Blabla und einfach nur kurz die Fakten:Mit meinem vorherigen Prozessor (Ryzen 7 7800X3D) hatte ich oft mit OLED-Flackern zu kämpfen, welches auftritt, wenn auf einem OLED-Display - in meinem Fall ein LG TV - mit GSync oder anderem VRR die Framerate in Prozessen (zumeist im Gaming) schwankt. Sehr irritierend, und laut Online-Recherche oft auf die CPU zurückzuführen.Kurzum: seit dem Wechsel auf den 9800X3D läuft alles butterweich, mit mehr als akzeptablen 1% lows, die entsprechend auch das OLED-Flackern unterbinden. Der 7800X3D war schon großartig, doch der 9800X3D ist quasi das extra bisschen Luxus.

Al tener un único CCD no hay que hace falta marearse forzando que x programas se ejecuten en el CCD con V-Cache.La única queja que tengo es que la caja venia un poco rota en la parte inferior como se ve en la foto.Por lo demás el procesador funciona perfectamente con un rendimiento excelente siendo muy bien refrigerado por un Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE.

Je suis passé d’un Intel i9-9900K à ce Ryzen 9 9800X3D, et honnêtement, je ne regrette pas une seconde. La performance est au rendez-vous, que ce soit en gaming ou en multitâche, et le plus impressionnant, c’est la gestion thermique. Contrairement à mon ancien processeur Intel, qui pouvait chauffer comme un réacteur, celui-ci reste incroyablement frais, même en charge.L’efficacité énergétique est également un gros point fort, et avec son énorme cache L3, il brille particulièrement en jeu. Pour moi, c’est le meilleur choix actuel pour un PC orienté gaming. AMD a frappé fort !
