I recently purchased the Philips Steam Airfryer Dual Basket 5000 Series, and after my first meal using it, I’m genuinely impressed.I cooked meatballs in one basket (air fry only) and mixed vegetables in the other using the steamer function. The results were excellent on both sides. The vegetables came out perfectly cooked, tender, flavorful, and not at all soggy, which can sometimes happen with steaming. At the same time, the meatballs were crispy on the outside and juicy inside, exactly what I was hoping for.What really stands out is the dual basket design. Being able to cook two different foods at once, using different functions, makes meal prep much more efficient and convenient. The combination of air frying and steaming in a single appliance feels like a big upgrade over a standard air fryer.I had to top up the water tank once, but the steaming function is on par with a Thermomix, the shaking function is a beeping reminder, just pull a basket and shake it for a few seconds.Cleaning is easy, just some warm water and washing up liquid. Sync cooking is a nice feature enabled with one button push beofre you commence cooking.Another review stated goodbye to Thermomix, well, I strongly disagree, I recently purchased a Thermomix TM7, and I feel both deivces compliment each other, the Thermomix making the delicious sauces or other components, and the Philips air frier steamer doing the heavy lifting for perfectly cooking vegetables or meat.Think of the Thermomix as a Porsche 911 Carrera and the Philips Airfryer as a Volvo XC90 SUV doing the heavy lifting in cooking lots of veg and meat. For me its goodbye expensive restaurants, the Philips is a recommended buy.

Der Philips Steam Airfryer aus der 5000 Series hat mich wirklich überzeugt.Besonders praktisch ist das Dual-Basket-System, mit dem man zwei verschiedene Gerichte gleichzeitig zubereiten kann – ideal für den Alltag und spart enorm viel Zeit.Die Ergebnisse sind durchweg sehr gut: Pommes werden knusprig, Fleisch bleibt saftig und auch Gemüse gelingt perfekt.Die zusätzliche Dampffunktion ist ein echtes Highlight, da sie dafür sorgt, dass Speisen innen schön zart bleiben und nicht austrocknen.Die Bedienung ist intuitiv und einfach, auch dank der übersichtlichen Programme.Das Gerät heizt schnell auf und arbeitet effizient. Zudem ist die Verarbeitung hochwertig und das Design modern, sodass es auch optisch in jede Küche passt.Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist die einfache Reinigung – die Körbe lassen sich leicht entnehmen und sauber machen, ich wasche sie in der Spülmaschine mit!Insgesamt ein sehr vielseitiger und hochwertiger Airfryer, der das Kochen deutlich erleichtert.Ich bin rundum zufrieden und würde ihn jederzeit wieder kaufen. Klare Kaufempfehlung!!
Two baskets, one perfect meal — sea bass and fries done at the same time
I bought the Philips Dual Basket 5000 a few weeks ago and it's already become the most-used appliance in my kitchen.The dual basket design is a game changer. Today I made wild sea bass fillets in one basket and sweet potato fries in the other — both finished at the same time thanks to the Sync Finish feature. The fish came out with perfectly crispy skin while staying moist inside, and the fries were golden and crunchy.What I love:- Sync Finish lets you cook two completely different things at different temperatures and they're done together- The large basket is big enough for a generous fish fillet, the smaller one is perfect for sides- Easy to clean — both baskets slide out and are dishwasher safe- Heats up fast, no preheating needed- Results are consistently good — crispy outside, juicy insideThe only minor thing is getting used to the controls, but after a couple of uses it becomes second nature.If you cook for a family and want to get a full meal done in one go without juggling pans and oven timers, this is it. Highly recommend.

La Philips Airfryer Serie 5000 con doppio cestello e funzione vapore è davvero fantastica!Cuoce in modo uniforme, croccante fuori e morbido dentro, e la funzione vapore è un plus incredibile per mantenere i cibi più leggeri e succosi. Il vapore funziona solo sul cestello grande e si puo combinare cucina a vapore e friggitrice ad aria.Comodissima anche per cucinare due piatti diversi insieme. Qualità Philips al top! E' anche molti silenziosa rispetto alla precedente che avevo e ha un interfaccia intuitiva.Aggiungo anche che il materiale dei cestelli si nota che è di ottoma qualità in quanto si lava molto vekocemente. Aggiungo per chi la dovesse comprare di fare la decalcificazione del serbatoio dell’acqua.
